At no point does Tali state that she thinks Shepard is physically attractive.  While she probably does think that, and Shepard most likely reciprocates, that is not the catalyst in their relationship.  It is a deep emotional connection built over time.  They would still be together if Tali looked slightly less human.

Don't get me wrong, I expect just as much of a human Tali as anyone.  I just find the overall premise of not being able to find someone attractive if they're face is different to be naive and nonsensical.

It is however alluded to when Tali used the word "dashing."

I know this is alot more subjective, but just listening to her voice during romance scenes (most especially the "how could she possibly develop and kind of interest in him..." line), you can hear her attraction to Shep:wub:

I'm confused by this, too. Is it the "dashing commander" line that makes peopel think she finds Shepard attractive? Dashing by definition means....elegant? I never got the impression she thought Shepard was attractive, even though she probably does.

Tastes differ yeah, and you'll never please everyone.  But that pic is by far the most well recieved one so far.  If I'm Bioware, I want the face that appeals to the most people.  I would think something similar to that is most likely. 

I'd rather they not change Tali's appearance based on fan reaction.  If they have a design, they should run with it - it's their work.

Their best bet is probably not to reveal Tali's face, but some other Quarians so we know what they look like in general.

Tali pursues romance with Shepard no matter what the player makes him look like. I doubt she's physically attracted to every single possible Shepard imaginable.

That...Is a disturbingly good question...Technically speaking necrofilia only applies if the uther person is still dead. shepard isn't...But as shepard is technically undead...
