I was chatting with someone in the tali chat room and he came up with a pretty good idea regarding Tali's face.

During one of the romance scenes, you have the option of seeing Tali's face with a [See her face] option.

Of course this may make it harder for the kissing scenes...personally I'd like to see her face while Shepard is kissing her. But the above is an idea.

I agree; it's pretty much inevitable.  The quarians would never accept the geth on flotilla for something such as this, and it would make sense to require "proof" that the homeworld has actually been cared for.  I have a feeling the whole Geth/Quarian conflict will end up being an utterly massive part of Mass Effect 3 (they certainly did a good job setting up for it with ME2).

let's face it though, Tali isn't exactly the pinnacle of health. We shouldn't expect her to be the complete image of beauty. Instead, we should expect Tali... friend, ally, and love.

My problem with a choice on seeing her face or not is that it would be impossible to avoid for anyone who spends time on the internet with anything having to do with Mass Effect.  You would see it eventually, no matter what.

I agree. "Nightcrawler" tali was an excellent pic. and I would be pleased enough if that was what become tali's face.

disagree why would alian need quad nostrils when u only need two to breath

to be hinest... why would you need two? also why do krogans have multiple copies of major organs? that said, even without the extra nostrils i would find nightcrawler tali repulsive (as i have said on several occasions.)

You are not alone my friend. I don't have a problem with various people preferring that interpretation of Tali's face, but I do take exception to it being bandied about as though it is the authoritative favourite of this thread and/or Tali fans in general. Without a proper accounting for each Tali fan's preference(s) that is both misleading and disingenuous. People should not be afraid to disagree yet when one point of view seems to be the dominant one, it can often seem intimidating to speak out against it. I'm glad that my speaking out helped reinforce your resolve and vice versa.

Well Said, KFD. Take, for instance, the picture that Scalples has put up a few times, the one from deviantArt titled, "Her Face" by Master_Cyrus. To me, this picture is the definitive Tali for me. But, that's just 'me'. I would never claim that the Entire Talimancer Fan Base thought the same.

Hm. Well why do Batarians have four eyes when they only need two to see? Why do humans have two eyes when one would suffice pending how strict your requirements for "adequate vision" are?

To avoid any further fights like the last one, I'll try to make this quick and painless:)

Digitigrade creatures stand and walk on their toes with their heels not touching the ground, Plantigrade creatures stand and walk on the soles of their feet with their heels touching the ground.
Ie. a dog vs. a human.
Tali walks flat-footed with her heel on the ground, and is therefore plantigrade with curved bones in her lower leg;)

They have multiple copies because if one organ fails, the others take up the slack during battle. Remember they are a warrior race.
