yeah, guess that would work... for spacer-Shepards. Can't really see any problems happening though. My Shep's a paragon so I imagine his mom is too.

Bioware is going to have enough work to do implementing other choices from past games, I can't see them putting in exclusive content for 1/3 of the backgrounds.

I haven't played spacer either, but I was more under the impression that Bioware didn't put much effort at all into actually creating a mother character.  She's more just there than anything else. 

I figured that not liking Tali thing was more assumption by people that no grandkids = dislike Tali.  Which I can't really see being true, unless there's some indication in game that I missed.

I did and I never got that impression. I always thought that she wants to best for me.

Well the idea came to me when i remembered the first meeting betweent my parents and my older sister's husband . It was fun ( for me at least ) .

Most parents react quite hard or weird during the first meeting ( from my experience ) .

So i was thinking of what would it look like  :

Hi mum i present you Tali she's an allien ...

While I enjoy all the great artists that bring us more Tali pictures, I can't help but wonder why so many of them insist on drawing our favourite girl with silly oversized boobs. If you're into silicone you ought to stick with Samara and Miranda! Not to offend anyone, but Tali is beautiful just the way she is, without exaggerating her boobs, at least to me she is...

While it may cause a surprise at first, you have to keep in mind, relationships with aliens aren't really that new to humans at this point.  Living in space, I would think Shep's parents would be relatively used to aliens by now.  The only possible snag would be if Shep's parents had some of the same racist opinions of quarians that most other people have.  Even that though, I see being dispelled pretty fast once they actually talk to Tali.  It could be interesting and awkward, but if the result was anything aside from total support of Shep's decision I would be surprised.

I just noticed that my Dragon Age page here hadn't been updated since the first night I played the game back in November

Now it finally updated. Turns out you actually need views so it updates Luckily looking at it yourself gives you these views.

Ahh, the joys of blowing enemies up. Every Geth Destroyer I encountered on Haestrom, I blew up with Overload in Tali's name. Great fun.

Yup, all my Shep's family and friends are dead, slavers got 'em. :happy:
(That's also why I chose the Ruthless background, even with my Paragon, considering he has to have some sort of vengeance against those Batarians (sure, it doesn't say anywhere that the slavers who killed Shep's family were Batarian, but blunt assumptions are fun!))

I thought they went into that some with the bring down the sky dlc.  I don't remember specifics, but I remember talking with the main bad guy there about my actions on Torfan (as a ruthless background.)  It seems likely from that conversation that it was batarians who killed you friends/family, and who you subsequently hunt down and kill.
