The Ashley frustrated me in ME1 as well.

I never said anything blatantly romantic to her, and yet the romance still ensued and eventually I got to conversation trees where I had NO option to reject her and say "I want to just be friends."

It seems there's no way to just be friendly with her without ending up in her pants. WAT. TEH. FAK.

I ran into this problem in ME1 as well. You can't be a Paragon and not make the LIs want you in 1, I just  got fed up and didn't talk to either of them after I figured that out <_<

Let's be honest the ME1 romances were pretty weak. I say we demand Bioware remake ME1 with all they've learned from 2.

I can almost imagine it now. Kaidan with some damn fine abs.

How good does your pc have to be to run DAO?

I wouldn't imagine it'd have to be very good, mine's about medium end

The romancing with Ashley wasn't really... romancing? It was just having a conversation that eventually gets her hot and bothered to jump in the sack.

I don't even remember what the Kaidan one was.

Liara was a bit... Her's was just awkward. Felt like you were just taking advantage of a loophole and hey look she's also vaguely embarrassed by the whole thing.

It just didn't seem that the ME1 romances were as mature, which isn't really Bioware's fault they just didn't have the vast armada of writers back then that they do now.

But I do want it on pc.
Im thinking now on if I should get it. My pc can run most games just fine.

Mod-ability
Better Textures
Better controls
Etc, etc


Just an overall experience, and yes I did play a full play-through on Xbox before buying the PC version.

True, but at least you can reject them properly in ME2 and say you were just being nice. In ME1 there are parts where you are forced to express itnerest if you've just been nice to them before.

You obviously be nice to the person that you can romance but the dialogue between the two games approaching it is quite different. The route is the same, paragon to the max, but the roads are different.
