It's evil, don't go there. It can be funny, but mostly it's just messed up and disturbing.

okay but what exactly is it?

A forum with optional anonymity, although 99% of the users keep that anonymity so basically everyone there posts anonymously.

This leads to the biggest cesspool of porn, gore, shock photos, and general debasement of the human mind you can possibly imagine.

However, it also births things like lolcats. Go figure.

Long story short : don't go there unless you're ready to stomach some sick ****. I've been browsing for a few years just for the occasional lols and have become relatively desensitized to it... but... still.
