Samara is the first Asari I've actually found myself strongly attracted to. Indeed, so strong is that attraction that it actually challenges the attraction to Tali. That said, knowing myself and given the circumstances we've come to know between Tali and Samara, Tali would likely be the choice that best suits me and she is lovely in both her strength and her sweetness (not to be confused with being meek nor weak).

I don't hate Liara, yet it wasn't until her emotional explanation on Illium after running some shadowy missions for her that I felt my first deep emotional connection with her as a character...and I played ME1 to completion so that should tell you something. Liara seemed like a nice girl in ME1 but struck me as too bland for my personal tastes.

I don't hate any of the other ME characters. I tend to like each of them for different reasons.

But to answer your question directly: If you are asking if you can count on me to support your love for Liara over my love for Tali in a fair fight (i.e. if someone is making unfair accusations towards Liara, or any other character for that matter, I'll happily defend her/them), then no. :)

Dang, looks like I wont be able to go to war with the Talimancers after all.
But at least I can count on you when people hurl injustices on Liara.;)
