In all honesty I could never imagine Tali going renegade. Maybe ... shes get more forcefull on shep? Any LI approaching Shep would mean death?

How renegade are we talking here?  I consider myself rather renegade, but I still melt around Tali.  Even as a renegade, I don't see Tali acting differently around Shepard.

I don't see it as a huge change.  She may say something like "funny" after leading the biotic god to death instead of "we should have stopped him."  I don't see it as a particularly large shift.  Squadmates don't make choices based on renegade/paragon.

"The power of the Catholic Church" is probably as complex and difficult as a historic topic can possibly be, so I would kinda disagree with this short statement if it would be of any importance to the thread. 

Would you prefer :

"The oppertunties, capacity, influence and direct power-projection of the machinary of the Pope, seniormost cardinals and ecclesiastical lords along with the material wealth, infrastructure and information network of the  Roman Catholic Church in its relations with nation-states, kingdoms, principalities and assorted national entities?

There is nothing that makes her do it apart from the code.

How do you know that?  She never says this, you're inferring it from the fact that she says that she doesn't want to kill the officer.  But this is fallacy, because of what I just pointed out: not wanting to do something has nothing to do with whether you believe it to be morally correct.

The point being made by KFD was, "what if her beliefs and the Code coincide"?  This is still a perfectly plausible scenario because your point doesn't contradict it.

Doing this wouldn't even help her with her investigation, because she had to flee from Illium (at least if she would survive).

Of course it would help.  She can't investigate if she is incarcerated, and her target isn't on Illium anyway.

There can be no darth Tali for such a senaria would invariably lead to all of use being here minions instead of her friends and then we would have to suffer from Imperial Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy and would then be unable to protect our goddess from even a small band of bumbiling rebel idiots that support miranda from blowing up our death star.

Yet no matter how risky such a course of action may seem it nonetheless holds some chance of success. Allowing herself to be locked away for who knows how long will all but guarantee that she will lose the trail of Morinth whom she has been hunting for some 400+ years. When reaching a decision you can really only use the information you have at hand - not idle speculation about what the future might or might not bring. If you do that to a great enough extent you will render your decision making process paralyzed.

She wouldn't have the chance to get on Morinth tail again anytime soon, she would have to flee from Illium or she could simply leave Illium freely, in any case she would have to track down Morinth without the information from the Eclipse. 

That would have been the two alternatives she had in this situation without Sheps interference.

Think of it this way. If you gave her that data she has provided the fleet with what could be invaulable intel on how the geth have evolved. She did this for the good of the fleet and with very little personal gain out of it besides being considered an adult and gaining her new ship name.

On top of this, she helped Shepard save the citadel, proving to the entire galaxy the value of the quarian people.

On her loyalty mission, after doing all this and asking very little (if anything) in return, they accuse her of treason, blindside her with her father's demise, and try to have her exiled. After everything she has done for them they try to throw her out like yesterdays trash.

Shepard said it himself "You've never been selfish, if anything you've spent too much time thinking of the fleet and not enough thinking of yourself."

My veiw is renegade tali takes this advice to heart, she begins to think less of what other people and indulge in what she desires. I'm not saying she turns into a selfish biitch, just that she is more willing to do what she wants.
