Evolution does not occur over a couple of hundred years unless one has a very mutable genus. Such a genus is never going to evolve to become sentient in the first place. End of line.

If you're trying to say that quarians evolved that eye condition because of the mask, then you're wrong.

The person said it was about the eye itself that would blind it if it emmited light. Quarians could have had the ability to not be blinded by them. Even before they were exiled.

Now i'm leaving this conversation because this is all speculation, and we all know it. They are aliens and we should not have to use human biology on them.
