No.  The lens would also be part of the problem, and an eye would be totally incapable of focusing light into an image without a lens.

Light is an electromagnetic wave. Quarian eyes might not be designed to register the wavelenghts emitted by their irises. The same like us not seeing radiowaves >.>

There are a lot of reasons why this wouldn't be true.
Foremost is the fact that their star would not have a much different peak emission spectrum than Sol, and so their eyes would be atuned to approximately the same spectrum.
Second, this would be an evolutionary disadvantage.  If their eyes glowed and they could see in that spectrum, they'd be blind.  If their eyes glowed and they couldn't see in that spectrum, they would have a whole range that they were blind to in the peak emission range of their star AND their body would be expending energy to produce light that has, at best, no good effect and at worst, allows predators to find them more easily.

Who do you want back as squadmates in Mass Effe...

Argh! Polls of that nature often cause me a moment of inner turmoil because I like most, if not all, of the characters and they each can be useful in different situations. Take Miranda for example, her group boosting powers makes her one of the most useful party members on combat missions. Then you have Tali and her powerful tech skills and useful drone distraction. Not to leave out Samara whose biotic skills kick some hard ass....And I have just revealed my three favourite ME2 female party members.

In short: I'm not sure I'm going to vote in the poll since it doesn't allow for combo/multiple choices voting.
