So you think you're a Tali fan? Answer this without looking up a picture. What side is Tali's knife on? Right or left?

.

Right! If your looking straight at her!

Erm wait that would be her left? Right? Image IPB

I kinda enjoy Jack's the best

Jack's romance is very touching too, IMO. Also, if you just look at Jack's finely chiseled facial features she arguably has the most beautiful face in the game to date (she reminds me of Kiera Knightley). Too bad all the tattoos and scars get in the way, IMO. If Jack can truly make peace with her past and herself, she might actually make for a strong, spirited yet caring partner. Tali does seem far more stable and a safer bet in regards to such matters though.

I actually think the tattoos and such compliment her personality, and to some extent her facial features... Though, I'm not as biased against tattoos as some people seem to be around here.

Not if I eventually become renowned enough to convince Bioware to let me and my studio remake the entire trilogy.

so just have question for you all...lets say there is a Happy Ending for ME3. Shep builds a house for Tali on her homeworld and they be together happily ever after. Do you believe Tali fandom would subside or will it remain as feverish as it is right now?

The devoted would remain.

im just going to prod here for a bit. Why would they remain? The relationship between Tali and Shep has succesfully met all expectations. As with all games, wouldn't poeple just move on?

But then again I may not understand either way. Never been of fan anyone or thing till now.

Depending on the ending of ME3, people may choose to continue the story themselves, or if its horrible, completely rewrite it.
I'm pretty confident in Bioware's abilities though.

Building her a home and living happily ever after there would be a horrible ending for me... :?

ok. lets just say for all intents and purposes, the ending (whatever you prefer would be a great ending for you jake) has met or exceeded your expectations. Would you go on with the fandom? Or would you move one and all of this  would just be nothing more than a thought back of mind?

Good question! IMO? Not sure, i mean of course after ME3 come out there will be a resurgence but i guess over time it'll die out (a longtime based of some peoples dedication!)Image IPB

Everything dies eventually.  I'm sure initially there will be just as much support.  The thread support will probably fall at a similar rate to the rest of the forum.  Will always be the most popular topic, but months to years after the game is out, most, but not all people will move on.

I doubt it will be totally forgotten.  I still go back on forums for random 10 year old+ games.  If the game is popular enough, there will always be people, it just won't be this 100 page a day pace forever.

I just felt that Jack's story, especially what's covered in the loyalty mission, had little meaning.

Wow, man... harsh.

She is raised by an organization that uses her to study biotic enhancement by torturing her and using her as a lab rat, and then when she goes back to face her past in an attempt to come to terms with the cruelties that were inflicted upon her and take baby steps towards a normal existence, you say it has "little meaning"?  Eesh...

I felt nothing for her at all. She didn't seem to care, so why should I? The entire time we are there she's whining about how hard it was for her. "Yeah, what about the other kids who were there, who, as it turns out, had it just as bad if not worse than you did? You don't actually care about finding out what really happened here; you just want retribution. So just shut up already, Jack."

Hmm, I guess I forgot about the old saying, "good things always come to an end". Nevertheless it was a pretty interesting discussion.

I think in time it will subside greatly as people are caught up in their daily lives and duties. Not to mention other interests will likely crop up from a myriad of other entertainment outlets. That is not to say that many people might not reflect fondly upon their first experiences with Tali and how they eventually were able to court her in-game, yet like a past love relationship that is no longer active it will fade gradually with time, likely only to have a select few cherished memories highlighted from time to time. Wistfully enjoyable yet no longer actuately relevant nor active.

This presumes that no new ME material is forthcoming after a certain amount of time in the future.

The other kids were allowed to play with each other and see sunlight, they weren't drugged and encouraged to fight, and most didn't survive to go on and lead an increasingly horrific life.
