I'm telling you, this thing was it. Tali had two tongues and the dialogue went something along the lines of "make me your little xenos pet!"Alphyn wrote...

Sorry, I'm drawing a blank on it. Maybe the author took it down in shame. It made all that other stuff I linked seem very tame.
Do you think anyone has written a really, really, dirty fanfic of Tali and Shepard?
Y'know, like... um... well... stuff like... uhh...
All Tali fans, read this! IT'S UP TO US TO KEEP TALI ALIVE! 3.0!!

"Oppressor"? If you think I've been oppressing you then you ain't seen nothing to date.
I see it's a case of "same old, same old". Delightful I'm sure.
So I was a rebel yesterday? I would like that thought.
You flatter yourself. Besides, last time I checked BioWare owned this forum and thus this thread. Not I.

What use would the suit-loving Quarians have for hair? Those suits likely have climate control. So hair would be worthless.
What does them wearing suits have to do with whether or not they evolved with hair?
Those suits can likely warm them up or cool them down, so they wouldn't need hair.
Needing hair has nothing to do with being born with hair....
Then why do you doubt they could be hairy as a gorilla?

I kind of never wanted to see it again, but now that I can't find it I have to keep looking. It was written well before ME2 came out, and was in two parts. The first part was in the airlock and the second part dropped any pretence of authenticity and just went to Shep's cabin.Shazzammer2 wrote...

Those suits can likely warm them up or cool them down, so they wouldn't need hair.
But they would still grow hair if they evolved with it, they wouldn't stop growing hair after a few hundred years in suits.
And if quarian culture considers hair beautiful, that's all the reason that they need to maintain it in their suits. With how advanced the suits are, I doubt keeping hair is that problematic.

Since when is that the only alternative?
Everyone is voting for hairy mammal. So I presume people here must be...
But "mammals" also include "humanoid", and "hair" just menas, Tali ain't bald unlike every other race in ME.
What use would the suit-loving Quarians have for hair? Those suits likely have climate control. So hair would be worthless.
What use do humans have for hair?
To do a lot of different hairstylezzzz!
Ugh..

I don't, my question was why you'd assume that was the only option. Humans have hair and are mammals, and aren't as hairy as gorillas...

"sigh" As the quote of Arthur Schopenhauer would say :
“In the sphere of thought, absurdity and perversity remain the masters of the world, and their dominion is suspended only for brief periods.”
And not to forget Schopenhauer was a pessimist and did not really enjoy accompany - and the paradox thing: he saw himself as the follower of immanuel kant, who was the complete opposite of schopenhauer. oh yes.
Immanuel Kant. Arguably the father of the modern day "democratic peace theory" following in the footsteps of his 1795 publication "Perpetual Peace".
