Aye, but those SS units composed of foreign troops came from several countries including but not limited to Denmark, Norway, Hungary, etc. Many, if not most, of those outfits were sent to fight on the Eastern front. There were **** sympathizers in many occupied countries yet aside from the German speaking occupied countries it does appear that the majority of the people in those non-German speaking countries did not relish German occupation and thus rejected the ****s. I do not accept your claim.

Actually I think they're still a little miffed about the past 300 years.
Just saying.

Instead, I'll go play ME2 and get that IFF. With Tali in my squad, of course.

Being a Norwegian and all, Quisling isn't exactly our brightest moment in history, so , can you all drop it please? Atleast about Quisling.
To The_KFD_Case: When occupied by a foreign country, one that is rather exrtreme, not many have the strength, or the qualifications to fight them, most would just get themselves killed if they tried anything. Also alot of people had families, which they didn't want to endager.
Honestly, i'm not quite sure what i would have done myself if i was around the age 20 during occupations.
I just wanted to make that clear. Not everyone has the capability to be a hero. Very few does.
Can we get back on to the Talimancer train now?

Hm, I just finished Horizon yesterday...so it is clear, what would be the next step in my seventh playthrough.

I'm only on my second playthrough so far, I had some issues trying to get the english version of ME2 for Xbox 360, so I was weeks late. Apart from that, this forum takes too much of my time away. It's mostly this thread's fault!
But if it increases the chances of Tali being recruitable and LI in ME3, it's worth it.
After this Insanity playthrough I'll probably go back to ME1 and do a romanceless, complete playthrough. That'll be a pain.

Hero's are non existant in real life. You can't dodge bullets, you can only hope the shooter misses.
Part of why I find fiction so much more fascinating then real life. Authors create ways for hero's to be allowed to survive and exist.

Side quests and everything? That's rough going back after tasting 2. I keep trying to pop my heatsink when I overload.
That just went somewhere horrible.![]()

Well, to be a hero basically means to stand up for something good although it might cost you.
It doesn't mean, you will survive.
And no, I don't know what I would have done 70 years ago, I would have been a completely different person.

Yes, sidequests and everything. The only thing I intend to skip are the resource collection quests. And I'll probably skip my way through half of the dialogues too, since I've finished that game so often, I could finish almost any line that's being said for the characters.
I'll start a new game using my level 60 guy and play on easy, so I'll be skipping combat as well, more or less.
It's really a shame that I wasn't smart enough to NOT romance Liara when I did my "perfect" playthrough a few weeks back.

I'm not so sure Martyr's are heros. Though I suppose I would simply be arguing against my own concepts of the terms to really take it any further then that.
