I would disagree actually.  I find the game to fly by until Horizon.  I always do Tali's recruitment next.  The next 3 missions and then the collector ship just drag on forever for me.  Tali's on your ship, but locked into cleaning the engines after a short convo.  I want to help her on her trial and start romancing her, but I can't until I deal with Harbinger again. :(

I wrote two more one-shot fan fics.

Rannoch

Shepard's Trial


In terms of story progression it's like this:

Rannoch -> The Third Interview (Paragon or Renegade) -> The Exclusive (Paragon continuation only)

Rannoch -> Shepard's Trial

Rannoch can be considered the prequel to either three fan fics, whereas Shepard's Trial is separate from The Third Interview and The Exlcusive.

Hey InHarmsWay, I really liked "Shepard's Trial" I can totally see this as either the intro or a scene right before the climax of the story in ME3.
