in the first i didnt notice her at first...i liked liara...after about five playthroughs i started not to anymore and tali was there and she was always the most human/ and skilled in combat... i guess it was kinda like all those cliche movies where the guy finds out he is in love with his best friend...Darth Cheesecake wrote...

Somebody's going to hate me for this but it was after Liara gave me the cold shoulder on Illium, and I went to Haestrom to recruit my favorite squadmate from ME1. Then I found her recording, "I wish Shepard were here...".
That did it right there.
Although I agree, her recruitment mission made me like her a lot more then just another regular squad member.
It made me see how much she actually liked Shepard.

Shepard: Liara! Lets go save the galaxy again!
Liara: No, I have to hunt down the Shadow Broker!
Shepard: But, I can help you, I'm helping everyone else with their side missions...

Oh I dunno. Jack has certainly been through a severe turn in the crapgrinder of Life on at least one occasion. Apparently more than once. That's not to say Garrus has had it easy - he hasn't. We each have our own demons to wrestle with and while yours might seem easy to me and vice versa, none of that matters since each individual has to deal with them on his/her own.

They lured Garrus away from the base so they could attack his squad, Garrus got back to the base to find most dead already... You can even see the covered bodies of his men there

True, but it wasn't in pitched battle. He held the high, strategic ground with a high powered sniper rifle overlooking a single, narrow, open entry way. A very different combat scenario.
Was he alone for the entire time though? On my last playthrough, I didn't talk to him before his loyalty mission opened, and I got some new dialogue from him that seemed to hint that his team that Sidnois got killed was with him before you get there on Omega.
He said something like he wasn't alone, he had 11 others with him, but he was betrayed. Can anyone confirm this?
Yes. Garrus was alone for ca. 24 hours. Before that his team was there to assist him, though many fell due to Sidonis' betrayal. IIRC three team members survived the betrayal but were eventually killed off regardless.
Could be wrong but I thought thats what he said.

Depends on various factors, such as what is the nature and status of Tali's and I relationship? Is it platonic? Is it on the verge of becoming romantic? Is it newly romantic? Is it a stable romantic relationship already? What does the person hitting on Tali seem to be like? How does she appear to be reacting to the attention? What seems like likely outcomes of the situation between the various participants (i.e. does Tali seem interested? Dismissive? Scared? Does the stranger seem creepy? Aggressive? Is he/she alone or backed up by a group of friends? etc.)?
I prefer too much analysis to too little. Much as with thinking.
Besides, I already have a fairly good sense of the different responses I might call up pending the answers to the various questions above.
I understand what you're saying, I know Jack has been through a lot, as a child she was used for medical experiments and grew up in a life of crime. What I said is that Garrus is very inured, on top of his military and C-sec career. And arguably he is the most battle-tested LI.The_KFD_Case wrote...
