If i didn't have fun with playing Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect i wouldn't be playing it. In fact, the 2nd playthrough is way more fun than what my first playthrough of ME 2 was. I still feel that i can play it MANY more times.



I just can't get enough of Tali, Legion, Garrus, Grunt and Mordin.

I'm actually getting sick of having Tali on my squad. 6 full runs and I'm stuffing her (ha ha no, get your mind out of the gutter) into my squad the very nanosecond I can.



Play the first half the the game racing to unlock her then playing through the rest of the game with her practically attached to my hip. At least figuratively until the Omega 4 relay *cue cheesy porn music*.



Tali I love ya but I've clocked days of play time with her while Jack, Miranda and Samara barely have a handful of minutes. WAY too much choice in this game.



Shepard: I'm sorry Tali but I need to see other people.

Tali: Why Shepard, what have I done wrong!?

Shepard: Well for one, you take up half my squad of 2 out of an 11 man team 6 times so far. Frankly it's a little bit clingy.

Tali: But that was your choice Shepard!

Shepard: I know, I can't quit you.

Do what I did, copy and save your Bioware directory to a backup device / online storage. Impotant things like that are worth the effort. No?

If they actually said interesting and new things during the missions, I might be inclined to agree.

Sadly they just all repeat effectively the same line, with perhaps slightly tailored diaologue to fit the chr.

 I will have Tali as squadmate EVERYTIME i can, EVERY playtrhough i do. Hows that for being a Tali fanatic.

Depends on what difficulty

On Veteran and below, the game is effortlessly easy. Who cares what the squadmates do, i never order them to do anything.
On hardcore and insanity, Combat drone is the most vital ability in my opinion.

Now....yes Legion with his widow and combat drone is better.....but the AI squadmates are all pretty bad at actually shooting my enemy.

I made a tech character for a runthrough without her, since tali is also pretty nifty against machines and can spam that drone.

Combat drone works good against everything, draws attention. Attack drone can do alot of passive dmg, explosive drone is nice if you plan to cluster enemies around it. I took explosive drone on my Tali.



Me being a Sentinel, having Legion and Tali is a kick ass party.

I've actually found certain squad combinations spawn new series of bonus dialogue for specific missions.

Bring Grunt and Garrus when you recruit Mordin, their first few dialogue lines are hilarious. Or maybe it was because it was Grunt and everybody has a response to it... Something to ponder. <_<

But the fact remains there are diamonds hidden among the audio files so it's almost worth it to replay the game just to drag every squadmate to every mission. Mordin's loyalty with Tali's response versus Garrus's explaination of fun places to shoot up.

Also specific squad combos spawns extra banter when you do the "Talk to X". Talking to Tali on Tuchanka with Legion in the team spawns extra banter. Bioware hid gold in them there dialogue. :happy:

Even on casual she would suck more than Miranda or Garrus. 

But yes, it doesn't matter that much, so what the heck...

I brought Legion to the flotilla, it was awesome.

I would rather pick having squadmates with me that i like the most, instead of picking those who are best. Besides, Tali is quite good i think.

I know Jack also has a response to it, never brought anyone else with Grunt. there though.

I agree....my second play thru was the best because I did it with the angle of how I wanted my shepherd to behave and act to carry onto the third such as focus on tali alone as a romance or play more paragon than renegade as well as save everyone at the end.

My third was alot of fun but the only thing I did the third time for is just to get to be with Tali some more

I got 1 step away from romancing jack.....even avoided picking up tali to prevent temptation...and failed hard.

Sorry jack, Tali actually has traits that are likeable.

I actually stopped a "Jack-Playthrough" and started a new one for Tali a while back (and yes, I knew, I could just "switch" romances). But I will do it this time!
