She's very loyal.  That ship has taken care of her for her whole life.  I can't see her using her pilgrimage to try and gain status, spiting people that she's gotten very close to over her life.

She was from the Rayya originally.

depends on the individuals, because by that rationale, by judging the reapers as a race based on our encounters with Sovereign and Harbinger, then we're all racists.

Seeing as how they function similarly to the geth, they are all thinking literally the same thing. That makes them okay to kill!

Could be friend's ship.

The only thing we really know about the ship is that Han'Gerrel is from the ship, too.  You know, the warmonger admiral.

Interestingly, do we know what ship Tali's father is crew of?

Was left unclear. Likely on purpose.
Would fit underneath "friend's ship."
Or "friend of family's" ship, as goes.

Admiral Han'Gerrel is on the Neema and he was a friend of her father.

So would you think that she agrees with him politically?

According to ME: Ascension, Pilgrimage gifts like that can lend a lot of political power to the ships they're given to.

I think the Neema is a somewhat of a prestigious ship. One of the admirals is vas Neema too, afterall.

Yeah, but when I think when it's teh goal of an enitre race to force the universe to expand in the way they have planned, and then destory them; turning many into unwilling slaves, it's perfectly okay to assume they're all dicks.

I don't know for certain, but I always assumed it was the Rayya since Tali was born on that ship.

Initially I imagined a Spiderman situation with Tali in one train car and the geth in the other, I can only save one and the other falls to their death.  In that situation I chose Tali like 5-10 pages ago.

Later you came up with this speculation:

That basically implied the reason for the choice was Tali creating the situation by being stubborn and stupid.  I merely stated that it is completely out of character for her.  There is no evidence in the game to support Tali having an unchangeable view like that, expecially one as extreme as that.  If I'm on good terms with the geth, Tali has no reason to want to kill them all.

i meant that her people would put you in a position to have to choose ie: they declare war on the geth but start to lose and retreat. then the geth determine that the creators will continue to attack unless destroyed first. so tali would come to her people's aid even though they started the conflict because of stated beliefs

Ah, OK, that's a much different situation.  So the admirals are responsible for the idiocy, and Tali is willing to die for her people if I don't interrupt on behalf on the quarians.

In that case, I would probably still side with the quarians.  The admirals are idiotic in that situation and deserve to die, but the quarian people and Tali specifically don't, and the geth persuing the war kind of force my hand.  If diplomacy wasn't an option (which I still contend is unlikely, the quarian admirals are easy to push around, and geth are very open to logic,) I would be forced to save the quarians.

It goes against all the pragmatist in me, but in the end, I care about Tali above pretty much everything else in the ME universe.
