Many turians in the game are ****s, but I don't hate turians. That statement goes true for pretty much every race.
Name ONE bad Turian.
But besides, the whole first contact war caused the tension with turians.
"The First Contact War started because baby Garrus Vakarian misplaced
his rattle, and the entire turian fleet went on a rampage to find it.
Facing him without it was the alternative."
Well, yeah, but it's a very reasonable assumption. As a liveship, the Rayya is one of the most important ships in the fleet. 1/3 of all the food and such.Himmelstor wrote...
Not necessarily. Really only means mother for certain.NuclearBuddha wrote...

I don't know for certain, but I always assumed it was the Rayya since Tali was born on that ship.
Evidence, not supposition.

i meant that her people would put you in a position to have to choose ie: they declare war on the geth but start to lose and retreat. then the geth determine that the creators will continue to attack unless destroyed first. so tali would come to her people's aid even though they started the conflict because of stated beliefs
Ah, OK, that's a much different situation. So the admirals are responsible for the idiocy, and Tali is willing to die for her people if I don't interrupt on behalf on the quarians.
In that case, I would probably still side with the quarians. The admirals are idiotic in that situation and deserve to die, but the quarian people and Tali specifically don't, and the geth persuing the war kind of force my hand. If diplomacy wasn't an option (which I still contend is unlikely, the quarian admirals are easy to push around, and geth are very open to logic,) I would be forced to save the quarians.
It goes against all the pragmatist in me, but in the end, I care about Tali above pretty much everything else in the ME universe.
Possible, but I hope not. Tali was my favorite character, but Legion was second. I also see the geth as the most valuable ally against the reapers (very strong army, know the reapers are a threat.) The pragmatist in me would hate to lose them.
The thing I'm leaning on is that there's always an intimidate/charm option to save the day

The VIP room turian had a good reason to not accept "no" for an answer when he offered to pay that dancer to "use her mouth"? This I gotta hear.GMR25 wrote...

Really? I could have sworn those gigantic ball-ships were the liveships. I mean, what else is going to have the space to grow food for 17 million quarians?Himmelstor wrote...

Liveship has no permanent crew. In rotations, I believe.

Shepard and Tali's son, Rael Shepard, was waiting for his bed time story
with a certain degree of impatience.
Suddenly Garrus just
remembered that Tali would be upset if he or another one cursed around
her son or made him cry.
And an upset Tali mean... Well...A lot
of blood with a broken nose, carving trips and shotgun in the ass.
----
This
time, Tali was pleased with her guests (Garrus, Grunt and Mordin). They
didn't do anything to upset her son (she heard him giggling), they
didn't do anything that could break the house – like last time...
After
the last incident in her house, she had warned them that if any of them
showed up again, she would not hesitate to obliterate their offending
presence with a shotgun.
But they liked Rael very much and he
liked them too. So she forgave them... for now.
----
"Uncle
Garrus... What’s a whor*?"
Garrus only thought was...
Sh*t!
They
had to think quickly of a way to answer the question without upsetting
Rael nor breaking his innocence yet. And hope that Tali wouldn't hear
any of it.
Mordin was the first to speak.
"What he means
to say is... Well... your uncle Grunt was raised because of the WAR."
Garrus
continued the little lie.
"Yeah. Like your father - he became
the hero of the galaxie because of the war against the reapers."
"He
has grown mature because of it." said Mordin.
Grunt was confused
"What the hell are you talking about? I mea..."
"Shut up !" Said
Garrus in a slow treating voice.
Rael looked at his three
“uncles,” a bit confused.
"So... Daddy became a man... because of
a whor*?"
"YES ! Clever boy." Garrus grinned, patting the head
of the young boy.
And his worst mistake would have been to think
that he said “war” instead of “whor*.”
