Ever think that Tali and Shepard has already "weded" by Quarian standards?
Think about it. Tali says it herself, the willingness to share the same environment means more then just being together, since for Quarians it means that they are willing to risk illness and complications just to be in the same room as the other person and be intimate. I can't think that this is an "everyday" occurrence even for Quarians.
It might very well mean that this act is an act of Bonding. Possibly a fact that Tali left out, either out of fear that it might be too much for Shepard to handle or that he would reject her advances.

He does bring up a good point. We know that family is important to quarians, and we know a bit about Tali's mother and father, and that there is a concept of extended (though non-related) family w/ "Auntie Raan." The closest we have to knowing about quarian marriage is som small details in ME Ascension that show nuclear families of quarians (parents and single child) all living in 3x3 meter cubicles.
ME books are, sadly, unavailable in my country.
Still - we all got used to the idea of a veil/dress, because we see it on every wedding.
As far as we can tell, quarian wedding might, and IMO should be totally different than human. Including the costumes, rituals and everything else connected with it.
As much as I love Ghost's drawings, which are damn good, if I saw Shepard and Tali taking a quarian marriage, and seen that more than 50% of it is an analogue of a human wedding, I'd be at the very least not amused.
i should mail you mine
Hell dude, I can live without those books.
You know what's worse than not having them ? EA-Poland not implementing english dialog version in polish release.
I had to download some audio from my german friend and play a little with the INI files to get my copy working with english audio.
Wanna know why ? Cause in polish version Shepard is voiced by a 50 year old youghurt commercial actor >.>
I mean c'mon...

And after watching it, try to tell me that not having books is bad >.>

True. But not in Tali and Shepard's context. Besides, Aunt Rann and Tali's mother shared environments because Tali's mother needed Rann's help in birthing Tali. That speaks of an act of pure trust, allowing another person to share and be in the same environment as your newborn is it not? It might not be "intimate" in the romantic sense but there is a degree of trust and intimacy on another different level.

Uhhh, Not telling him its a "tradition" of trust and bonding that most Quarians count as "marraige" in human terms is raping him?
I think not.
Tali is not sure if Shepard is willing, in any way, to be intimate with her. Or even if he wants to get married. However, since she does sometimes display "renegade" like choices in behaviour, this is probably one of those times that she is thinking :
"No need to tell him *all* the details, we are going into a suicide mission anyways. If we live through this, we'll sort it out AFTER. But for now, I am gonna have him damnit!"

Depends...
If ME1 LI doesn't join Shepard, then yeah, it's possible to keep it a secret.
If he/she does come onboard... well... it's a small spaceship, word gets around.
