Glad to hear it. You should be able to switch back to your previous browser now that you have an active firewall and have completed a thorough virus scan. Also, run the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware freeware that another poster recommended. That should root out any spyware/adware that was likely the culprit of your issues yesterday.

Nah mate, it made a mess of the bed.  I'm ALL into this hypnosis now.  I expect her to be walking around willingly in a Tali suit by the end of the week, the accent perfected by next week.  I shall keep you informed of my progress as we go but if this works it'll open up a whole realm of possibilities...

By the way, what rank are you inkling towards exactly?

The role of an assault rifle in mass effect 2 is to be a competent mid range weapon that fills the gap between the long range abilities of the sniper rifle and the short range power of the shotgun. The Revenant right in the description warns you that it has limited accuracy so the user must by extension compensate.

However does the rifle itself fill it's desired role? It replaces the fish gun (Avenger, I can never not see it as a fish....), the Vindicator and the Geth rifle when used.

The Avenger has moderate accuracy and moderate damage. It has a large ammo pool though.
The Vindicator has incredible accuracy, very high damage and a high rate of fire but a very tiny ammo pool.
The Geth rifle has very good accuracy and a varying rate of fire with a large ammo pool.
The Revenant has terrible accuracy, moderate damage, a moderate rate of fire and the largest ammo pool.

The Vindicator has incredible accuracy, once maxed it does not lose it's accuracy even while firing. It also has the most damage per round. On Normal a single 3 round burst to the head of an organic kills it. On veteran 2 bursts to the chest of a husk kills. The Vindicator fulfills it's role as a competent rifle, easily slaying all enemies at long and short range equally.

The Revenant never reaches maximum accuracy. Full auto with it simply wastes ammo, it's rate of fire is also slower than the Vindicator. The get an equal amount of damage done with the revenant compared to the vindicator per burst you would need to be firing for 2 more seconds on full auto.

The Revenant's ideal range to be used at is half as close as all the other rifles, it's accuracy doesn't allow for much more than that without a steep drop off in damage per second. I dare do say those supporting the Revenant need to go back and give the Vindicator a fair shake. It's lack of ammo pool should be your first clue as to how devestating it is.

The only role the Revenant fills is the shotgun's ideal range and for that to make it effective would be for a class that cannot use shotguns. Sadly only a soldier can use the weapon and they most definitely have them. For those worried about it's ammo reserves, simply carry a carnifex pistol. Per shot it does 80 damage, yes the same as the semi-auto sniper rifle, with pinpoint accuracy. Yes ladies and gentlemen the pistols do more damage in a shorter time than the Revenant and at any range to boot.

Depends what your playing as a class..and yeah i wouldnt recommend it as a  main weapon on insanity..but i mostly play on casual or normal

Well, you guys shouldn't feel too bad about it, IMO. There are far worse offenders on this thread. It seems some of them have become shameless self-promotion trolls, at times only posting to plug themselves. It's a free thread (until BioWare says otherwise,) so they are free to do so but personally I'm getting a bit fed up with it. You guys are nowhere near that level though.

Kinda wish there were more SMG and Pistols option..i love the carnifex and the Tempest (death storm!!) but i feel a bit let down

Unproven claim. If we had two PCs side by side with similar FPS rates I'd be happy to test it. Alas, that is not the case.
