What? No no, you people got it all wrong. I got everyone out alive on my first attempt, took Tali and Samara to fight the end boss both times. Last time, Samara slid down that platform and Shep saved her. This time, it was Tali, which is the preferred version for me. No one died this time either, not Tali, not Samara, not even Mordin!

IIRC, Legion's logic amounts to saying that the Heretics might as well be reset since the alternative is destruction and that they are not living beings in the same sense that organics understand such a concept. Also, the Geth (i.e. Legion) does not reach an internal consensus. There are three more votes in favour of reprogramming the Heretics than than the votes in favour of destroying them.

Actually, the thing is that the heretics fallowed Sovereign, but they started attacking organics after Sovereign implanted the virus in the geth programming. Or that is what i gathered at least. So if we take out the virus, the heretics could go and think indeed about what they did and how it was wrong really.
So re-programming would actually give the heretics a chance to see the errors in their old ways and also to see that Sovereign was evil/bad. And that Sovereign basically stands against everything geth believe.

Indeed.  I was thinking that when i was talking to Legion about it. And he said it was an virus there.
Not what they chose, but a virus, what made them do things they wouldnt normally do.

Who wouldn't take it like a man? Tali died my first playthrough, so I manned up, reloaded the save and brought her home safe!

Yeah, I was pretty crushed when Zaeed went down in my first play through, but i gritted my teeth, and kept pushing forward, never knowing that choosing him doomed the life of whoever i sent into the vents.

Of course! I mean, I like Samara too. I think she's the next in line after Tali, I usually take those two on missions.
Besides, I couldn't stand it if anyone died. I need a happy end, or I'd get depressed.
That's why I'm strongly hoping that those people who suggest that ME3 should only get a wide variety of depressing and sad endings don't get it their way. It takes at least one possible good end, with Shep, Tali, the crew etc. surviving, to make this biotic god happy. Of course, recruitable and romanceable Tali is also a requirement.

Samara was one of my personal butt-kicking squad, the people I took when I was in a big enough rush that I had to skip Tali. Tali's a great squadmate, but she is definitely not focused on ending threats quickly.

Tali's my love interest, but I don't take her with me on all missions and assignments, only when I know I'm up against geth or mechs do I take her along. Her AI hacking skill turned the tide many times.
