This was my absolute favorite piece of Mass Effect fan art.  Someone took the artist's original picture and resized it so it would make a suitable desk top background.  I'll post it here in case anyone wants to use it for that purpose.

And for those of you who haven't seen this one before, I'm sure you'll enjoy the placement of Tali:lol:

It is one of my favs too. And I do enjoy the placement of Tali. ^_^

Background form? WOOT! My one beef, besides the omission of Legion and Jacob, is that Shepard's left hand should be caressing Tali around the back

Still my favorite pic, now my favorite background.

I actually really dislike this because whoever did it didn't do a good job of blending the two backgrounds. :(

and what happens when the sacrifices to maintain freedom become to much? Is it acceptable to execute dissidents who threaten the "freedom" of the nation is it acceptable to invade other nations to "secure freedom" for the populace. Freedom is relative and vigilance can never be eterna.

A smart man can also realize when the war is over...only a fool pursues old grudges.

It wasn't old enough to be a "grudge" in my book. Unconditional surrender is acceptable however.

what would you do if I told you that soon I'm making an attempt at making actual figures of Mass Effect characters (not crapy, plastic action figures but stuff like this). I know how, I have the tools, I only lack time and am not sure about my skills.

actually, I wouldn't mind buying a tali figure.

If it was of that quality, or of something like this

I probably shell out for it.

Xenosaga is such a kick ass series. I only played the first one, and only part of it, but it was still frakking sweet.

Sure, there's a little bit of fuzziness between the added parts and the original, but I don't think it offsets the coolness of having this picture as a background.  If it really bothered you, you could just black out all the added stars in paint and just make the original a centerpiece.  Wouldn't be that hard.

Solution: eBay. You can get it cheaper on there anyway. I'd have gotten the PC version if I had the PC to run it!

there are a few problems...i live with my mom, and i have no job...._.

Are you 18?  You can still get a debit or a credit card and set up a PayPal account.  Living with one's parents doesn't prevent that.

Well yeah, but you need to pay at the end of each month.

really your going to reference Machiavelli, don't make me whip out my 18th-20th century philosophers oh and since you won't pick a person or nation or empire I'll pick. Byzantium, let the battle begin!!
