Spent the past 3 days working on a new Tali/Shep music video. Music track is good, captured some of Tali's best scenes, cut em, edited em, and they flow perfectly IMO, but the resolution is sh**! Started off as HD, but after encoding it looks like ass. I can't in good consience upload it as it is now. Looks like another day of re-encoding the video files and starting from friggin scratch

Getting to cuddle with Tali is really the best reward, I wish I'd get the same for finishing ME1. Then I'd be more motivated to change discs. *sigh*

Well it was the least I could do after you saved my ass in the seige of Acre.  Dragged me for ten miles through the city, sword, mail and shield included.  The arrow wound never fully healed but......I now wear it as a badge of pride....

In regards to Legion, I think most people are forgetting that its actions are essentially due to programming. That is to say, it'll obey its instruction set to the letter.
I like to point out a very good example of one :

For all her good intentions as a "human" she ultimately had to obey the "command instruction" to kill Adama when the situation called for it.
Thus from my point of view, I see Legion as a scout that was sent to look for Shepard whose mission is to infiltrate / insinuate itself into Shepards team and see why is he so effective against geth (in general) while other organics fail. Its the logical thing considering Shepard's unusual methods and penchant for taking on non human team members. Its a risk, for sure since the Geth has no way of determining whether Shepard would take Legion in, much less question it or even let it into the team, but its a gamble with the risk of losing a single mobile unit vs valuable knowledge gained if Shepard takes the bait.
Also like Sharon "Boomer" Valerii, Legion may very well against its will, betray Shepard at some point if the Geth Collective decides thats its in the Geth interest to do so. Or perhaps the betrayal will be due to a sleeper program.

Having said that, just like Adama, even knowing that Boomer is a Cylon, takes her back into the Galactica only because he weighed the pros and cons and found that (paragon path) the gains for having a faction of the "enemy" on his side far outweighs the risk of death or betrayal.
Which is classic Bioware. No matter which side of the coin you get, odds are you can be betrayed but depending on what you do, might just tip the balance of how an individual / faction will react sometimes contary to what it had originally planned.

I took the paragon path myself on this one. I am not to sure if I did the right thing as I learned later that it could lie or withold infomation about itself as you will learn if you talk to it enough. It won't tell you why it choose to use your armor even when you pointed out that there were probably better material on hand to fabricate repairs to the damage it took.

Precisely why I used "Boomer" and not Athena.   +10 points on BSG knowledge, but then any true geeks knows this.
Still that is what I am hoping for, Legion to me is "Boomer" at this point. It remains to be seen if it'll become Athena.

It'd be nice if one could get everyone to cooperate in ME3, depending on past actions of course. Alliance, Cerberus, Rachni, Krogan, Quarians, Geth... the most difficult part in this unlikely alliance would still be getting the Council to... well, *do* something for a change!

That's what I'm betting on. And yes, it would be nice to see the Council pull it's collective thumbs out of its collective ass and actually do something meaningful other than internal bickering.

Just for the record: If the only "repercussion" for cheating on your ME1 LI will be something along the lines of

"Oh no, you cheated on me! How could you!" -> Paragon persuasion with mighty blue text -> "Oh, okay, I see. Well, I hope you'll be happy with Tali. I'll join your squad anyways, let's kick some Reapers."

I'll seriously be pissed about having replayed ME1 just to not romance Liara.

This is another reason why real men just deal with the consquences of their actions.  And spend the time they save not replaying ME1 doing other more manly things.

(If the consquences really are terrible, I reserve the right to stop being manly.)
