Most Sheps already don't have a father.  And I'm having a hard time imagining shedding a tear for Conrad.

I'm all for breakdowns, but these aren't it, I'm afraid.

Yes I agree. Shepard is one tough son of a ****, but hes only human. Im sure he has alot skeletons in his closet. And true, Tali should be there, regardless if shes LI or not. She's been with Shepard since the beginning. It only makes sense.

I got it. Everyone knows that Saren's left arm is a geth arm, right? In your story Tali is forced to do the same thing:  She doesn't die, she loses an arm and now she's even more badass because she can use Assault and Sniper rifles Plus the drama that the Geth are literally a part of her

I'm afraid a substitute would be necessary, since Shep doesn't have a father in any of the origins, as far as I know. Only as spacer kid has he contact to his mother, in every other origin his parents die.

I'm glad you guys are all on my side. I think it's one of the most beautiful things in movies and other stories. A man or woman crying at the death of his or her love. Always emotional. <3 In Shepard and Tali's case, super-awesome-lovely-emotional-touching. I mean, only if Tali comes back to life, of course. If she really died... well... that would be just mean of the devs!!! :(

admit the idea is legendary (not using epic anymore), would be great
drama for ME3 [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie].  Tali
loses her arm (that scene would be legendary) then afterwards they show
her strong willpower by not only undergoing the surgery but also living
with the fact she is now an abonimation.

Tali: "I'd rather have no arms than have you put that
thing on me!"
Shepard: "Tali, the Reapers are coming. Your entire
civilization is being threatened. Do you really want to see the Fleet
destroyed because you couldn't make this one sacrifice?"
Tali: ".....I'll
do it for you."

lol sorry I just had to throw a Shepard-esque
line in there.

But it only really works for characters that the audition, player, reader... whoever...knows and likes himself, so I would vote for a dead Garrus.
