If an old friend has to die, I can almost guarantee it will be Garrus (or Tali, if you're a femShep w/ Garrus as LI).  Garrus has always struck me as looking for a place to die heroically.  At least he might finally succeed at something that way.

No. But that Garrus shouldn't be the one to die, he's too close to Shepard. Wrex would be perfect for the job. A good friend, but not the most important.

Why does everyone have to make things complicated. Give Shepard a flashback of his parents death, Shepard cries and you have an emotional scene.

did anyone else when they played tali's trial get into a situation where the renegade and paragon aquittal choices were gone and the only option was exile or betrayal? I'm in that situation right now and while the choice is obvious it still hurts...

No Rally Crowd option? The 2 options should be
"we don't have evidence, Tali get's exiled" or "we have the data, I'm a
douchebag". Not sure though, didn't ever not have the Rally Crowd
option...it's the best [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/love.png[/smilie] And if
there's an option where the consequence is Tali doesn't say "It's fun
hearing you shout" I don't want to know it.

How would it not be dramatic? We never see how his parents die. The Colonist background would be just like Luke "that would lead them...home" then finds the burned up bodies of his uncle and aunt lol Idk about the other backgrounds but if they had a vivid flashback of Shepard's past Idk how that couldn't be dramatic.

Imo the paragon option is the best. But rally the crowd is absolutely 2nd best. Kal'Reegar is badass.
