Why does everyone have to make things complicated. Give Shepard a flashback of his parents death, Shepard cries and you have an emotional scene.
lolz. I'm sure there will be emotional scenes in ME3. But there must be REAAALLL DRAAMAAAA too. A flashback of Shepard's childhood won't fill up the dram-o-meter...Imo.
well either way, I just hope it doesn't come down to anybody dying.
How would it not be dramatic? We never see how his parents die. The Colonist background would be just like Luke "that would lead them...home" then finds the burned up bodies of his uncle and aunt lol Idk about the other backgrounds but if they had a vivid flashback of Shepard's past Idk how that couldn't be dramatic.
The colonist background death would be dramatic, but the spacer background has parents still alive, and you're an orphan in the earthborn background. While I'm not sure if the game explains how you became an orphan, I highly doubt you had loving parents that were dramatically killed. I can't see a major plot point like that differing so much based on background chosen, Bioware has enough alternate scenarios to incorporate already.
