Hell, just the intro, with the recording panning out into the actual game engine was a hook from the get-go.  Forget Bioshock:  Dead Space was the true successor to System Shock.

She's awesome and all, but yeah, taking on a geth prime, hunter, and a couple of troopers all at once by herself probably would not have turned out well.

After father's death. Would likely be too distraught to take on above opponents. Deciding factor in survival.

waiting for it to download, also watched the comics that came out a year a go or whenever that was, good story leading up to the game

I don't know what my opinion on this is.

The mask shows a pretty decent amount of skill, though I'd be happier if its proportions were more in-line with the game model. 

The girl's reasonably cute, at least from what I can see of her.

Afraid not chaps. I've been preoccupied with other things today and am just now half-heartedly paying attention to this thread (which won't last all night either I don't think). What was it that I seemed to be the only one to react to and what was the political rampage about?

And the first thing I was talking about (what was that thing you seemed to be the only one to react)

Hmmm...  I think the 'character manipulating you from the background' setting of Bioshock matches more closely, though.

(System Shock does need a third installment, if only to kill Shodan once and for all...)
