I don't get why people don't like this pic
I think it looks cute

Honestly, if someone would just go in and airbrush out the veins on her forehead and beside her mouth, I'd be in. They can even leave the crinkles on her cheeks, those I don't mind. But the veins just creep me out:unsure:

the veins imo add more alieness to tali. It doesn't really creep me out at all.

The CGI is indeed very well done but personally I still prefer this concept:

That one's neat too, but I have no idea how it would translate to in game graphics, so I can't give it an honest opinion.

It's an improvement over some of the other versions of the same source pic, yet all of them (except possibly the pink faced one which looks a bit too pink, IMO) have this bulging vein and/or damp look going on that makes me reminisce of zombies. Hence why I babtised those pics "drowned zombie Tali" pics.

I've been talking with Vespaz as I'm making my own rendition, and damn that guy is good. That is a 3d model guys... a freaking model. XD

This picture seriously looks like Harbinger is ASSUMING CONTROL of nightcrawler. We already have blue Asari, if she has bluish purple skin,  we all will immediately think Asari.

Not so sure about that.  Vespaz's model is very high resolution there, much more so than the ingame model.  It could be just cleverly used meshsmooth along with higher textures but I'd be willing to bet most if not all of that is entirely custom.

Um you are looking at the same thing I am right? I mean you've seen the ingame models.... they look extremely different. If you want I could put a comparison image up... But to start:
New mask, new neck piece, completely redone hood, new sholders. He remodeled everything you see there, admittedly he said he used the ingame as a reference, as I'm doing too, but it wasn't just a model a face and redo textures job. It was a full out start with a polygon face and extrude the edges to make everything job.

what i like most about this pic is the cloth texture. It so perty! Nice use of bump mapping.

Many thanks! Must add both scripts to blog... Have discussed Harbinger (or other Reaper) pursuing Shepard's LI. Hope it does not happen. Hate lose/lose situations.
