Stay or go as you choose. My advice: Try not to care too much about what other people think of you. Sure, defend yourself from time to time if your reputation is being erroneously and/or unfairly impunged upon, but remember that popularity is often a fickle dame. To paraphrase Shakespeare, "Above all else to thine own self be true".....Besides, this is the internet and unless you have developed particularly strong bonds with some of those other posters they are annonymous strangers. In other words: Don't sweat it.
