Well if it sounds better the OFFICIAL name is Canadian Scottish Regiment

and remember.........finding out where you live is not hard<_<

Aye the official name sounds much better. Mentioning princesses in the title of your military unit is just..... uber nerdy to say the least.

Boy I've heard cheesier names in American regiments (They don't name them officially if I remember correctly......doesn't stop them from giving them unofficial names though)

Splendid. Former army man myself. Royal grenadier guardsman in the Danish Royal Lifeguard (which means the Royal Guard which is part of the Danish Royal Army).

Tut tut. You are effectively bad mouthing centuries of proud military and cultural tradition. Take for instance the Royal Guard regiment I served in: It celebrates it's 352nd anniversary later this year. That's quite a bit older than your native country of the United States.
