I found the first impression to be the easiest time to turn her off.  If you're a jerk to her on Eden Prime, instead of welcoming her to the Normandy, you can get into an altercation first time back on the Normandy.  After that she isn't too eager for love.

Splendid. Former army man myself. Royal grenadier guardsman in the Danish Royal Lifeguard (which means the Royal Guard which is part of the Danish Royal Army).

The Danish military underwent a major revision and overhaul phase back in 2004. Reserves no longer exist. There is the equivalent of a National Guard ("Hjemmeværnet") in each of the three branches of the armed forces (Army - ca. 80%, Navy - ca. 20% and Air Force - ca. 20% of the military forces) and a conscription system is still in place. Conscripts undergo 4 months of basic training except for the Royal Guard which has an additional 4 months of service carrying out guard duty as part of the outer perimeter security detail of the Danish royal family at their various palaces, mansions and other residential locations within Denmark. Also the Hussar Horsemen serve 12 months in total along with the specific naval recruits selected for the royal family's flagship - this is due to the greater amount of detail, training and resources spent on those three sub-groups.

No conscripts are currently able to be deployed on international missions by law, or until such a time as the Danish parliament changes the law pertaining to such matters. There is a professional forces segment of the Danish military specifically trained and equipped to participate in rapid reaction forces engagements on behalf of the UN and NATO. Then there are the two main special forces branches, each the equivalent of Navy Seals ("frømænd) and Green Berets/Rangers (Jager soldater) in the US forces.

I was a conscript although I moved from the UK back to Denmark so that I could voluntarily report for the conscription process despite being exempt while living abroad. It doesn't get much more voluntary than that!

Fell for when heard Haestrom log in building.

Met Liara later. Found out was for best.

"Shepard...is that....you?" This brings me to a thought about when you first meet Garrus. He knew you were alive, so he was pretty composed when you first meet him. I wonder what his reaction would have been had he not known you were alive? Tali's reaction was priceless.

Ash's heart is in the right place IMO and she's alright in my book. Yeah, she ended up saying hurtful and unreasonable things on Horizon, yet she apologizes later on with a very sweet e-mail. I'm confident we've all said something in haste in the heat of a moment that we regretted afterwards. I know I have. Ashley will come through for Shepard before the end. I'd be willing to put my life in her hands.

She's basically ready to blindly jump into hell, simply because Shepard is there. Now that's love and trust!
