You'd just up and leave your house because some **** wants to trade you a bunch of **** you can't use? And you can't just move back in after they're done, they have to demolish your house to get your rock collection. You get a bunch of useless crap in exchange for being homeless.

Sweet! Thanks for the heads-up. The third "Deus Ex" game keeps dropping off my radar. With the cybernetic implants as opposed to nano-tech implants, it may be that this third game will be a prequel. Regardless, as long as it leans towards "Deus Ex" and NOT "Deus Ex: Invisible War"! The second game is one of my greatest gaming disappointments to date.

Yes it would.
Am hoping that they will include all LIs, not just Mirranda or Tali but for everyone else. Perhaps even "repair" some of the damage done in ME2 with Liarra and Ashely. Kinda bridge the LIs and prep them for ME3.

Ok i'm back.....agian. So anyone know of a good movie that fits the Mass Effect plot. I'm not saying "exactly" like it but i want to watch something that has the same amount of love, war, and all that good stuff.

The old game series "Wing Commander" has a similar vibe though it is not the same. An absolutely fantastic space opera. Too bad Uwe Boll basically raped that gaming universe with his lame duck movie adaptation of "Wing Commander".

The old games were for now outdated PC operating systems and if you can even find them on Amazon or E-bay, they are likely to cost a pretty penny (nevermind the hassle with DOS emulators, etc. to get them to run). EA had their hands on that franchise as well and the games focused heavily on using live actors in CGI-like scenes - it was on the cutting edge at the time in that regards. I'd be thrilled if that franchise was resurrected.

Best of the best "good ol' space opera games" are Wing Commander and Decsent Free Space.
Free Space actually had "better" combat / wingmen control system and very interesting game universe. Too bad the game died due to studios changing hands and its "IP" was locked and left to rot.

Wing Commander was more "Gundamistic" in aspect story wise. Lots of internal / political backstabbings as well as the external threat first from the Kilrathi and later against the Nephilim.

Amen to that brother. I think Origin still owns the IP (not sure). I would like to have seen a multiplayer version (like FreeLancer).
