As for my own question about Tali and 300 credits...

Assuming she doesn't need anything (I can't think of anything she'd need on the Normandy), I can see her doing the girlish thing and buying some nicer cloth to decorate her suit with; or something like that.

Actually, I can see her donating the money to the migrant Fleet before doing that, but that's no fun to imagine.

Fairly, possibly. While I'm capable of dastardly deeds I find them...unsavory and my conscience does not easily abide it. That said, there can be a very fine line between outright bamboozlement and business savvy. The latter is acceptable provided the wording is not falsely misleading (though if some questions are not asked they may not always be answered either - this does not relate to matters of safety and quality control however; such matters must be covered IMO).
