Hello everybody,
as soon as I saw this thread and the initiative, I knew I had to chime in and add a little support for this very noble and thoroughly important cause. If we keep this up long enough, Bioware won't be able to resist our wishes
Like everyone in this thread, I love Tali
and would be heartbroken if my Shepard couldn't pursue his feelings toward her further in ME3. It's also great to find a place where I don't feel like a weirdo/nerd for thinking about her like I do.
Understandably (I hope) I couldn't take the time to read through the 300+ pages and I hope you don't mind me barging like this. I did at least read the last 5 pages or so and I was delighted by the way your community is friendly, free-spirited and warm. The pics, jokes and general tone of your posts are very welcoming and heartwarming, keep the positivity up! This is truly a thread after Tali's heart.
I also have a couple of questions for you, fellow Tali-worshippers.
First, I wanted to put one of the "I support Tali in ME3" banners into my signature to show my allegiance. I followed the instructions given in post #1 of this thread, but not one bosh'tet would work for me. All it ever did was put the url into the sig. Anyone has an idea what might help? Like downloading, then uploading the pic or something like that?
Second, would it be considered weird or offensive if I used Tali as my avatar, even though I'm a guy?
I hope quarians and true geth are able to work out their past peacefully in ME3, and not just because of the Reaper threat. Quarians are a beautiful people, for Tali even more so, and deserve better than galaxy-wide loathing and a pointless war. Shepard should speak for them to the Council!
Thanks for creating this initiative and keeping it alive.
Keelah se'lai.

Welcome Aardvark!
No worries about not reading all 300+ pages. We had 1,1150 pages in the previous thread and in the thread before that one we had 380 pages.

Regaring the signature banners, simply copying the image and then placing it in your sig box under your profile options should do the trick.
As for whether it's okay for you to use an avatar of Tali because you're a guy, really that's nobody's business but your own. There are many guys in here ranging from teenagers to full adult men who are using female avatars. I'm an adult male and I am not ashamed of having the avatar of one hot, sophisticated and deadly Asari justicar. Be yourself and try not to worry too much about what other people think of you when your actions aren't directly hurting them is my advice.
