Oh, and MarineBorn: How's that fanfic coming? I think you've done a bang up job so far (my first 'blind' playthrough for ME games is a Renegade Vanguard so I actually imagine my character in that story) but it stops right at an interesting part

On a side note, anyone prefer to lose Zaeed type extra character DLC and just develop the current squad? I mean the Normandy is getting full and I all ready have Tali and Garrus...why try to top the best? Mordin is also awesome and would be that "elusive" 4th squad member.

Depends.
I don't mind Zaeed. Having more characters to choose from a pool means that when you do your 3rd ...5th...heck or like some of us. 12th run, having someone different to bring along just to mix things up will make things interesting.
And with the "Kasumi" DLC inc, one has to wonder if they will muddy the "romance" waters further by tossing in a *really* good romance along with the character. If so, as I said it'll be interesting.

For the record I'm on my 9th ME2 playthrough and I'm still stuck with Tali and Garrus. 12 is just way too many when you're forced to spend almost half the game with a squadmate picked for you automatically.

As much as I liked the loyalty missions, forcefully taking up 1 of my precious 2 slots only forces me to cling to my preferences that much harder. Sure I can see and understand how diverse and interesting the new team is but I'm not getting the quality time I need with the team I want.
