Bioware is a business, not a military regime, they'll do what's best for business, not try to show up people posting on a forum.

You can't force Bioware to include Tali in Mass Effect 3. But they will probably do it because it makes the most storytelling sense and Bioware is deeply invested in their stories and character interactivity.

Given the nature of her role in Mass Effect 2, doesn't anybody think it is weird to assume the most plausible fate for Tali is to be kept out of Mass Effect 3?

Oh i beg to differ. We got them to make Tali a LI in ME2 through voiceing our massive support. And we shall do it again for ME3.... or else.

Unlikely. Bad for business. Although. Tali is alive/dead depending on savegame. Tali now in quantum state.

I love Tali, but I don't understand the usefulness of this thread. Not including Tali in Mass Effect 3 if she survives Mass Effect 2 wouldn't make much storytelling sense. In fact, it undermines one of Bioware's most cherished values as game producer, which is that they can make immersive, character-driven  RPGs in which characters can die at some point, and yet, in a different version of events, show up and still seem indispensible to the plot and action, to the point the thought of them dying in some way beforehand doesn't make sense.

That's okay. You aren't required to "understand the usefulness of this thread". We post here because we want to show our ongoing support for Tali, because we hope to see her reappear in ME3 as a fully recruitable and romanceable character (which I personally think is highly likely for a number of reasons, some of which you have already touched upon), and also because this has become a gathering place for many different individuals from different countries who share a similar interest in Tali and can discuss it  (and lots of other things too) here without clogging up the BioWare forum with numerous redundant threads. It also makes it nice and easy to quickly shut out trolls and other lame llamas that suffer from a case of sour grapes. As a community we're generally fairly easy going and tolerant.

One other thing...this conversation, because there are times when this thread looks more like a chat window than anything else, is very fluid, and every once in a while it goes a bit off topic. This makes it easy to just jump into the conversation without necessarily having to read pages that you might have missed
