Don't know from personal experience, but I've heard Veetor has a hard time of it in Cerberus' clutches. When you see him again on the Flotilla, he's sicker than a dog and babbling about needles and such. It's implied he got interrogated hard.Timbama wrote...

Tali's angry and confused when you take Veetor. She says something about "I trusted you, Shepard!"
Edit: But yeah, I've never done it. Even if I was a renegade, it just seems like a dick move.

In fairness, it's possible that Miranda doesn't know what's going to happen to poor Veetor (not likely, but possible). Remember that Jacob specifically says Veetor will be treated well. I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt since he seems a stand-up guy. However, this little event shows that he hasn't the first clue about how Cerberus really works.Goat_Shepard wrote...

Very few people really hate tali. Like 95% of people who claim to hate tali are trolling.
The real problem with the renegade Veetor option is that you get nothing from it other than emotional trauma (or a sick thrill, if that's your thing). In fact, it bites renegades in the ass later since you can't use him in Tali's trial. It would be less pointlessly brutal if you at least got something for it like more money/xp or an earlier weapon upgrade or something.Rakia_Time wrote...
