No, it didn't cause me problems because I refuse to buy it and a friend let me play his copy instead. I transferred the saved files to a portable HDD. I've been tempted to buy ME1 for the PC since then many times, but until they remove the limited activations and DRM before the disc even begins to install content, AND provide a legally binding guarantee that such is the case, I won't buy it.

Which is all well and good, however I shouldn't even have to deal with all that bull**** when the pirates have the superior version and didn't pay for it. I won't play by their DRM rules.
