but
1) Quarians look alot like humans, thats why fan art shows her face as human. Many human elements have been described in the book, like eyelids, nose, mouth, teeth, lips. The only thing missing is hair, ears and skin color.

That's true, but there is a lot more to a head than facial features.  You could have something with eyelids, nose, mouth, teeth, lips, and even the same skin color as humans, and still make it look alien.  That was my point.  Perhaps, they have elongated skulls, or perhaps their neck connects at the back of their head instead of the base (would explain Geth profile), or perhaps they have any number of other other things that don't alter facial geometry.  If the only thing they can think to change is her skin color, then I would rather simply have her look human.

When they do eventually show her face, its going to look incredibly human. That way they please the most people. I honestly don't care either way, as long as she's pretty.

I mostly aggre with you.
But that "Differently-shaped skull is not right. It was dismissed already due to screenshot taken in ME2. It's from side mission where you are rescuing lost Quarian crew on some planet. There are dead Quarians, or their skeletons exactly and they have human-like shape of skull.

To be fair, I was only talking about things that I believe make something look alien aside from simple facial features or skin color, not necessarily talking about Tali or Quarians in particular.  Point noted, though.

I personally think the skeleton thing is dev laziness, but unfortunately it's one of the few things we've got to go by right now.

I think they only made the eyes glow brighter to give her face more expressiveness from behind the helmet.  For many reasons, both from a biological and a design perspective, I don't think they actually glow.  I think it ruins the expressiveness of her face and makes her look less friendly and inviting; it simply doesn't fit her personality, IMO.

Biological perspective? Don't use human biology on aliens. Another thing is that TIM's and Shepards eyes glow, yet they don't get blind.

TIM sounds like a nice guy, that was makes his personality great. His eyes just add to the seriousness.

EDIT: Yes, its your opinion. Just pointing out.

Try not to force it when you write;) I learned that a long while back; it always shows through the writing (at least in my case). Better to let it flow naturally:)

It's not that I don't have inspiration. It's just that I'm worrying all the time if it's good enough or not. :(

Most of the time... Indeed. If you really don't have some designated term (In this case you really don't) it's better to write when you have ideas and not force yourself in writing. That would ruin you FF. I know it form my own experience. B)

Writing, like just about everything else, is completely subjective. You can never please everyone, there's always gonna be at least someone who perfers something else. The important thing is that A) you enjoy the process and B) you stay true the vision you had, and tell the story that you wanted to tell.
As long as you can satisfy A and B, you'll have a good story your eyes, and in mine:D

If it feels good enough for you then it's good enough. ^_^ Just show it to the people and you will succeed or fail in their eyes... You can try it again and again and again... B)
