Thats our specialty, and we have a verry defined schedule, talk about tali for an huor, go completely off topic for a bit, back to tali, Fan art, back to TaliGoat_Shepard wrote...

We also get sometimes off-topic (Don't know if I can say "completely") but Tali's amazingness always lead us back to her.

Every thread does, and I don't see them having fans like antilles playing policeman trying to keep people on-topic. No thread can be even 95% on topic, and why are we all here? Not for dem hips, that's a bonus, we're here cuz of dat culture and dat personality, which have incited way more heated discussions. If Miranda didn't look that way, she would have no fan base. It will take serious effort to force Talimancers away from Tali.

lol trust me I know just how off-topic this thread gets, but the discussions are freaking awesome when the happen, and every other thread goes off topic just as much if not more than this one. It shouldn't be a surprise that the smartest fans would be here, since it takes that type of person to look past everything we know about Quarians and see the aesthetic beauty. I know that makes me sound like a bigot but I hope you get where I'm coming from.

Is there a hero somewhere, someone who will never walk away
Who doesn't turn a blind eye to a crime

This is a pet peeve of mine <_< (not your post, but the info).knight5923 wrote...
Rannoch is a dry, arid world with a star much more ancient than earth's, casting everything in shades of orange;)
Check it out
Being old does NOT make a star more orange.
Rannoch's star is more orange because it is smaller, not because it is older. In fact, stars increase in temperature as they age due to gravitational "squeezing", which would make them LESS red. It is possible that Rannoch is a K-class star, or maybe a slightly smaller G-class star (Sol is a G), meaning that it would have a significantly longer lifetime, but a lower temperature. The spectrum would be a little different, but it would not make everything dramatically orange in color. Quarians should see in pretty much the same spectrum as humans, even if their vision extends slightly further into the infrared, and they may not distinguish blues / violets as well.

I remember Legion saying
Rannoch is dry and arid, with an orange sun and no insect life. So their
skin would be scaled to an extent like desert snakes/lizards.
mean like camels? Oh wait...
Seriously, that is not a safe
assumption. There are a lot of possible evolutionary responses to a dry
climate besides scales. The desert is abound with mammals and birds.
There are certain things you can rule out based on climate, and you can
make guesses based on the sort of problems that the life on that planet
would have to solve to survive, but "their planet is dry so they must
have scales" is a pretty big leap.
