If they bother to allow it to articulate in a suit, yeah, it must be something like that.  Unless it's considered something to look at by quarians.  You know, since it's a difference between males and females.

(As always, the answer is "because the devs designed it that way," but it's more fun to try to speculate stuff out of little details)

Maybe, but I think I'd prefer 'DAT ASS' to 'DEM SMALLER TOES'.

Anyway, you're right, the real reason is because that's the character design, but it's much more fun to work the imagionation and try to think of other reasons for why it might be.

Hey, they are aliens.  It's hard to say exactly what they find attractive and why.  Why do they have those blinking mouth-lights?  Why do male helmets have those downward-pointing flanges on the mouthpiece?

Agreed, I prefer one-thread with varrying discussions. I was speaking mostly of pictures. If I didn't come on here for a week I'd miss a lot of art

Tali's hands are smaller. Fingers long and thin. Rather delicate. While may not be as fast as human typist. Likely Kelish developed not to require many keystrokes.

Because they're awesome, that's why. Just because they're stuck in those suits dosen't mean the Quarians don't have a wicked sense of fashion.

New question: Why does everyone wear the same form-fitting suits? What is it that caused the gold old pairing of jeans and t-shirt to go out of style?

Bonus question: Why does no one wear glasses in the future? Does everyone have 20/20 vision? Are there no more sunglasses either? What's the deal with that?!

Like Buddha said, they're aliens. But like most vestigial organs, I'm sure it served some purpose in ancient quarian ancestor females, but the advancement of technology and/or random quirks of evolution caused the third toe to be useless.

Humans find attractive: Animal based artificial pigment. Silicon impants. Pierced body parts. Perminantly damaged dermis. All meant to enhance overall attractiveness. Small toe could be desirable.

Good question.  It's a real rough patch for the galactic fashion industry?

Bonus answer:  Vision problems are corrected in-eutero.  As an example, Ash had it done.  And sunglasses are about to come back into style for humans and drell (see upcoming DLC).
