No group is going to approach the success of a public thread.  Groups are basically hidden.

And probably each group likes to think of itself as the "one true group."

Edit:  I should also note that group discussions don't have quite the flexibility of the actual forum threads here.

Agreed, I prefer one-thread with varrying discussions. I was speaking mostly of pictures. If I didn't come on here for a week I'd miss a lot of art :crying:

Then this might help.

I think that's Runescape's album where he stashes every Tali pic he comes across.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you
This is great

Because they're awesome, that's why. Just because they're stuck in those suits dosen't mean the Quarians don't have a wicked sense of fashion.

New question: Why does everyone wear the same form-fitting suits? What is it that caused the gold old pairing of jeans and t-shirt to go out of style?

Bonus question: Why does no one wear glasses in the future? Does everyone have 20/20 vision? Are there no more sunglasses either? What's the deal with that?!

On subject of Quarian fashion. Have always stated. If unfortunate enough to lose limb. Will "pimp" any .prosthesis. Blue LED/Cold cathode. Will not attempt masking.

Most wear same form fitting suit as individual is part of military or gang. However. Lack of variation in civilians may simply be tech limitation of XBox 360. Quarians not as uniform in Ascension.

Glasses rendered obsolete from gene modification. Ashley Williams born with predisposition for nearsightedness. Was genemodified to prevent possibility of poor eyesight. Sunglasses... new Thane outfit has sunglasses, yes?

Hey, they are aliens.  It's hard to say exactly what they find attractive and why.  Why do they have those blinking mouth-lights?  Why do male helmets have those downward-pointing flanges on the mouthpiece?

Jeans and T-Shirts went out of style in the 90s.

Where at?
I never heard that. He should be able to type faster, would be funny to
see Shepard and Tali compete to see who can type the most words in a
minute ../../../images/forum/emoticons/cool.png  isaw it on this form possibly in the 2000 pages or the 3000 pages

Maybe I have inspired you to write a funny story that has nothing to do with anything?

Good question.  It's a real rough patch for the galactic fashion industry?

Bonus answer:  Vision problems are corrected in-eutero.  As an example, Ash had it done.  And sunglasses are about to come back into style for humans and drell (see upcoming DLC).

Actually, I think the Mass Effect 'Verse's God (i.e. BW) ran out of money and couldn't give everyone a different outfit.

Like Buddha said, they're aliens. But like most vestigial organs, I'm sure it served some purpose in ancient quarian ancestor females, but the advancement of technology and/or random quirks of evolution caused the third toe to be useless.

I think Felipe is probably closest to the mark. Kind of like the pancres or male nipples, that smaller toe probably served some purpose long ago, but time, evolution, and technology has rendered it mostly uselss.
Besides, it's probably more comfortable to have it in a seperate hold then bunching it up inside the boot.

Am impressed with Tali's skill. Only Legion better. (Closes doors faster). Legion is "cheat" though, as Legion is synthetic. Thinks at speed of light. Moves rapidly.

Pancreas is still used (extensively), and males can produce milk if the necessary criteria are met. Human Vestigiality

I'm glad you spoke up, I was getting very self-aware of the fact that I am currently in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.  Now I feel socially acceptable again.

I haven't read anything about the new DLC yet. It comes out Tuesday, right?
I don't suppose you have a link with some info about it, do you?

All I wear are jeans and t-shirts, occasionally sweatpants, and virtually exclusively shorts during the summer (baggy khaki shorts, I hate jean shorts, they don't...flow, if that makes sense).

I know what you mean.  Jean shorts just don't feel right.  On a Tali related note, if she could be out of her suit, would she wear jeans?  Do they still have jeans 200 years in the future?

The only fashion I need is the good ol' suit and tie.

This entire short conversation we didn't make one handjob innuendo joke. We have surpassed what may be considered logical/ideal behavior for the internet. I'm proud, Talimancer, proud.
