Agreed. No matter how many times I play that game, Tali will be my only LI.

I wonder if Bioware themselves feels a little embarrased at how much the ME1 romances paled in comparison to the force that is Tali.  There are aspects of the first romances that I kinda enjoyed, like being able to be a little naive talking to Liara about "having sex with anything" bit. Is there a renegade option in the Talimance where you say "that's gross" or anything? Not sure cuz I uhh kinda hit the same options every playthrough even on my "full" Renegade

I actually toyed with neurology for a while. See, the brain is the one thing in medicine and biology that we truly don't even begin to understand its true capabilities. But the reason I wanted to go into neurology was because of my other fascination, which is artificial intelligence (I suppose I really am a quarian at heart...). All of my many interests have arisen thanks to science fiction. I honestly don't know where I'd be in my life right now if it weren't for sci-fi. Nowhere nearly as interesting, for certain...

I do sound pretty qualified, huh?  Neurology got me for exactly what you said, maybe a little less AI and moreso that the brain is so interesting.  But life without sci-fi wouldn't be a life worth living!
