Short random question... In ME1, my favorite squad was either Tali/Garrus or Tali/Liara - but for some reason, I just don't like Garrus as much anymore. Not talking about gameplay, but personality. Anyone else here who cares less about Garrus in ME2 than they did in ME1?
My favorite squad is Tali/Samara now instead.

For me it was the opposite, I found myself bringing Garrus around a lot more in ME2!

Not just that but also most boring mission. Hey Jacob lets go wander thru the crazy people and then shot your dad. wtf???

I liked the story of that mission actually... People on a ship get stranded, rank breaks down, people are killed or turned into sex toys... Fun stuff...

I think BioWare wasn't the first ones to use that patent.

I can't believe I just did that... I hit refresh on the window I was typing chapter 11 in.... lost it all :crying:

I feel for you. I did that a couple of days ago, lost so much...

Now I use Word, in spite of its ****ty formatting issues.

I have a present for you.

Thanks. Shame I use Google Chrome.

More interesting than Zaeed... Though, that's not really hard to achieve. ^_^

I think Zaeed was much  more interesting  than jacob and dont forget that he wanted your  to space legionPosted Image

Meh, I thought the devs tried too hard to put Boba Fett into the game.. that and the lack of ship dialogue is stupid, no character growth.

I guess I'm in the minority here. Just didn't like it.

Actually, I feel the opposite.  ME2 did such a great job of thrusting you into the "unknown", not knowing who to trust, that you had a genuinely affectionate reaction when you saw familar faces.

I ddint actually care much about Garrus in the first game, but now, he's like my unofficial second in command. I wouldnt have cared if Garrus was not in ME2, but now that he was, we've bonded, and Ill be upset if he doesnt return.

(also, Garrus with Wide area Overload, and Rapid Recharge Samara with area effect Pull field, both using assult rifles, make a great 1-2 punch in Insanity games.)

No, but stories of being stranded have become increasingly rare in the last half century... Why I like it, adds a bit of classical nostalgia to it for me. ^_^

Hey, can Tali fly the Normandy?

Like, if EDI blue screens and Joker passes out or something. I kinda want to assume she could since she's got a lot of knowledge on ships and stuff. For that matter, can Shepard fly it? :o

same here, didn't really like Garrus that much in me1. Didn't hate him, just didn't really use him. Majority of time it was Tali/Wrex, or Tali/Ash. Now in ME2 I think he is a much better character, use him more & better dialog

Tali could build the Normandy. Of course she could fly it.

But we have to leave things for the supporting characters to do.

I was pretty tempted to unlock her, but I read that it breaks the game later on or something. Maybe I'll give it a whirl after I finish my "perfect, complete" playthrough.

10. The Law of Exclamation
First recorded in an article by Lori Robertson at FactCheck.org in 2008, this states: "The more exclamation points used in an email (or other posting), the more likely it is a complete lie. This is also true for excessive capital letters."
It is reminiscent of the claim in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels that the more exclamation marks someone uses in writing, the more likely they are to be mentally unbalanced.
According to Pratchett, five exclamation marks is an indicator of "someone who wears their underwear on the outside".

I think there are worse things to happen if EDI bluescreens, than the ship not being piloted...

The poster Yionel has recorded a playthrough with Tali and Thane starting from right when arriving on Omega. It's his youtube link.

Tali stays true to form all the way through.

Weird. I mean, it's not like I dislike him or anything, I just... don't know, don't find him very interesting, easily forget about him.. it's probably because he never stops doing his damn calibrations, so I even stopped visiting him.

His "You told me to be a good guy, but I'm doing stuff in my own, Renegade way" attitude probably didn't appeal to me either.
