I had relatively low expectations going in.  I knew how awesome Tali was before I got the game, and that pretty much sold it to me before I played it.  I guess the game could have been so bad that it overrided Tali's awesomeness, but that would have to be a pretty godawful game.

Going into ME3 I think I'll be happy with a few small points.  If all the characters are back, and you can tie up a lot of stories, and defeat the reapers, the small stuff isn't a huge concern to me. Of course Tali is central to all of these concerns.

I had high expectations going in, because I loved ME1.  There were places I thought it could have been better, and they addressed all of these with ME2.  Tali and Wrex were by far my favorite squadmates in ME1, and I was thrilled to see her and Garrus return, not only as teammates, but potential LI's.  I was already a fan of Bioware RPG's, but still considered Square-Enix the top dog in that genre. ME2 surpassed my expectations, and as a result, I haven't even played FF 13 yet, because I'm working on my 5th playthrough of ME1 and ME2. 
     There should be no doubt now, like TIM would say, "all the details are there, buried in the data". Of all the romances in ME2, the ONLY one who shows a genuine romantic interest in Shepard, outside of conversations on the Normandy, and before the loyalty mission, is Tali.  Her "I wish Shepard were here..." line sets her apart from all the others. Yes they kept the LI's from ME1 open for ME3 (Kaiden/Ash & Liara), and for femshep it seems the most popular choices are Garrus and Thane (I think Thane is winning though). But there can be no question who the most popular maleshep romance is.  If you doubt, go look at the fanart on deviantart, the music videos on youtube, the fanfiction stories. Count the forum pages, no other character thread has even broken 1000 yet, and here we are past 3500!! The numbers don't lie. So don't worry about the face reveal, Bioware knows were our loyalties lie, they know where their biggest fan base is, so I'm sure they have BIG plans for all the romances in ME3, but most epecially Tali. Oh, and if any Bioware devs are reading this particular post, take a good long look at what may be the best ME2 fanart I've ever seen.
