Shepard: ... Well, let's say she comes home. What do you think she'll do? (pause) (smiles) No sh*t she'll freak. The question is, how bad: a lot or a little?
Tali: You've got to appreciate what an explosive element this 'Miranda situation' is. If she comes home from a hard day's work at Cerberus and finds a bunch of 'old friends' doing a bunch of... how did you call it? Ah, 'gangsta' sh*t', in her kitchen, there's no way to tell what she's able to do.
Shepard: (slowly) Got it, Tali. Now I'm just contemplating the "ifs".
Tali: (snaps) I don't want to hear about goddamn "ifs"! What I want to hear from you, Shepard, is: "No problem, Tali. I'm on the bosh'tet. Go back in there, chill them idiots out and wait for the cavalry, which should be coming directly."
shepard: (calmly, apologetic) Alright, alright, "No problem, Tali. I'm on the bosh'tet. Go back in there, chill them idiots out... and wait for me and Garrus."
Tali: (pause) You're coming with Garrus?
Shepard: (smiles) Feel better, Tali?
Tali: (happily) Shiiit, Shep! That's all you had to say!

Just for the info:

Jacob - Jimmie
Harkin - Marvin (or rather Marvin's headless body)
and, as always, Jack as Vincent

As always, any help at making dialogues fit better characters is greatly appreciated (still unsure about Tali's last line...).

I don't actually like the idea of Tali being a space elf. But I wouldn't mind if she looks like this, it's pretty good.

The only similarities I see here and "Space Elf" are:

1) Pointy Ears

2) Thin body (Which Quarians have anyway)

Your disapproval is without merit.

She has cop elf hair. According to ME: Ascension, aren't quarians supposed to not have ears? Rather, I assumed they would look more like Asari (maybe even a little bit like turians). I always figured they'd have head fringes. Those seem to be more common in the galactic community than hair, at any rate.

Nothing for me, I'm a little curious as well, even if they're cliche, they're hot, I'm fine with that trade

I just don't like space elves. I'm not much of a fan of normal elves. Their ears are too long and they're too cliche. Besides that, they comprise about 90% of deviantart fanpics.

I don't really know why I don't like the idea of a 'space elf' Tali,I'm not completely against it, I'm just not in favour of it.
Probably becasue of the 'Adoring fan Tali' on the Tali's face thread.

Someone liked my first attempt at Tali fanart enough to save and repost it. I feel loved

I read some topic the other day concerning Tali's love scene (surprise), so I did some research, and here's what I found out:

The length of time for each love scene (took away 1-2 seconds based on response time):
ME2:
Miranda love scene = 92 seconds.
Garrus love scene = 98 seconds
Jacob love scene = 80 seconds.
Thane love scene - 72 seconds.
Jack love scene = 65 seconds.
Tali love scene = 58 seconds.
Kelly doesn't have one, but her stripper show last about 35 seconds before it repeats.

Now, in ME1:
Ashley love scene = 3 minutes long.
Kaiden love scene = 2 minutes 43 seconds long.
Liara love scene = 2 minutes 12 seconds.

Wow. That's all I gotta say. Tali had the shortest scene out of EVERY LOVE INTEREST (Kelly isn't included). Not only longer than Tali's scene, but Miranda shows her bewbs, Jacob get's a topless scene, Shepard gives Jack a hot kiss, etc. And I did not realize how long the ME1 scenes were.

So Tali's scene is the shortest but still the best, less is more?

Part of that is the limitation of keeping her appearance a secret.  They really couldn't have made it longer without giving us something (hair, skin color.) I was just fine with the Tali scene despite it being short.  If seeing her isn't an option, I wouldn't change anything about it.

They could've easily added more romance without revealing her appearance. Like oh idk have Shepard say more than 3 words? Tali just talks and talks and talks and Shepard's just sitting there giggling on the inside  saying "I can't belieeeve this omgz she's in my rooooom :O"



I like it, someone else made it, pretty funny I thought.

The Ascension definition says something like; what passes for ears for a quarian.  Its vague enough that Bioware could justify any ear they want, but I always expected something similar to the asari.

As far as hair, its inconclusive as well.  Personally, I'm expecting hair.  The headdress doesn't serve any purpose aside from being an analogue for hair, and the placeholder face has eyebrows as well.  While that doesn't prove anything (asari have eyebrows,) it does point in the direction of human-like hair.  Plus, humans can't be alone with hair in the galaxy.  There isn't really good evidence either way, but I'll take the hair circumstantial weak evidence over no real evidence for no hair.
