Or put him in a space suit and duct tape him to the outside hull of the frontmost ship, make sure to tape both his hands so they make finger quotes. Then slowly rotate the ship until the Reapers are in full view and he goes "Ahh yes, the "ReeeeeeeeeeaaaPPPEEEERRRRRRRRRSSS AAARGGGGH!"" pew pew.

Better be Admiral Hackett...

Captain Anderson and Admiral Hackett.

Plus the Asari, Turian, and Salarian Commanders.

Nah, Anderson would be back on the Citadel with the other council members.
I expect a Citadel fleet led by Hackett, with one of the ships being the Orizaba, Mom's ship (Captain Hannah Shepard, from war hero origin).  Plus a Krogan fleet led by Wrex, the entire Migrant Fleet, the Rachni, and the Geth.

Ah yes. That question. I chose to not reply to it at the time - no offence intended. My initial thought was Admiral Nelson, but then it occurs to me that he was only used to dealing with a 2 dimensional battlefield on the oceans of Earth. In space it's 3 dimensional and while some of the tactical considerations are the same (and I'm sure he could be taught new advances,) there are nonetheless some notable differences and advances in both technology and naval tactics in the time passed between his officer days and ME's setting.

I'm inclined to give the nod to Admiral Hackett from ME1, but since I have not studied all potential can....wait a minute! It just came to me: Grand Admiral Thrawn. A tactical genius who also happens to be familiar with modern space-age three dimensional naval combat.

I agree that it could use a different caption.  The one used currently was one of the most questionable paragon decisions in the game.  I get wanting to stick it to Cerberus/TIM, but endangering all galactic life is a pretty dumb way to do it
