Alright, so I've been writing this fan-fiction. I only got a prologue and 2 chapters up for now. It's about a childhood friend of Tali's, set just after ME1, before 2, and during/after the Acsension book. If you actually see this post before it gets forgotten within the 5 minutes that it's likely to be seen, please check it out!

Thanks, realized I was ambigious about some things
She lived on the citadel during her pilgrimage, not before
And Han'Gerrel only told him how to get approval, Shepard didn't acutally get it
yet

ohh, oops must of read it wrong, it was still good though

Hey, did you guys talk to EDI after she got unshackled?

She's able to tell you the stuff she couldn't before. What's interesting is she stresses that she is the Normandy now. "The hull is like my skin"

Normandy = mini-Reaper.

And Shepard's charisma is the Normandy's version of indoctrination. :P

Tali's indoctrinated:blink:

Very much.

Insert lame joke about Shep's reaper and her citadel here

He was able to access her Conduit?

Entered her Omega 4 relay
he released control

Yeah, I've looked at those numbers before.  Definitely not good.  It's always possible that the success rate is less than 50%, but I also doubt that they could only get 1 reaper per civilization.  Didn't it say somewhere that the protheans had near a trillion people?  37 million years is also the minimum

Indeed, but remember that that Protheans were taken completely off guard. The were cut off from one another, the Cidadel taken over, and the Mass Relays shut down. There was no way to rally an army of any real strength. If they had, then the Reapers might have very well been done for.

At least we now know that they're coming and Shepard is building his army and it's becoming pretty damn formidable.

Oh yeah I'm well aware of that, I more meant that it more than likely wouldn't take a trillion people to make one reaper.  Could maybe get 5-10 or more reapers out of that.  Scary thought when hoping that we aren't up against huge amounts of reapers.

37 million years of genocide.  Victims in the trillions.  The Reapers are pretty much cosmic ass holes.  I will enjoy ending their sorry existence.

But in their eyes they're saving people.  Without reaper intervention, eventually all races will fizzle out and die.  By being lifted into the heavens by the reapers into a form that lives forever, they save lives.

I imagine that's their view at least.

The smoothie machine seems to twist all the "ascended" races around to the Reaper point of view, since we don't see any dissenters to the horror of repeated galactic genocide.  So I don't know just what they're preserving.

They're also preserving only a tiny fraction of the galaxy's diversity.

as a practitioner of the art of the smoothie machine, i will tell you. you're gonna LOVE it!

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, they definitely need curb stomped.  Even if they're "saving" humans in their eyes, they're still wiping out the other 15 races.
