Yeah, but I don't expect to get Tali and only Tali back for ME3.  I see it more as a situation where the best thing Bioware can do is bring back all squad mates.  They really can't justify bringing a few back and not all of them.  Tali may be most popular, but that's no reason to screw over other fans.

Yeah i agree... i don't know about all the new comers but when i used to be here we all generally supported all of the squad mates. Mainly because we don't want what happened to Kaiden/Ashley and Liara to happen to Tali or any other characters in ME3...

Miranda fans generally hate us though and i remember once some idiot made a thread that was dedicated to hating people who like Tali... lol, they would just talk about how much they hate us XD

Hype backlash.  As the love for something grows, the amount of unsubstantiated hate grows as well.  A lot of people love Tali, people will hate for that reason.  I don't worry about it.  I don't think Miranda fans or any other fans hate us either.  Sure every group has its trolls/idiots, there are also plenty of reasonable fans who I've had conversations with.  You just never hear from the rational voices because the idiots are louder.

I hope all characters are back for ME3, and I'm sure most people feel the same way.  So much so that I think not having the ME2 squad back as the ME3 squad could seriously hurt sales.

Yeah... i got the 4th highest mark in the class (90%) so i'm not worried

frankly though i'm flattered that we're just so popular that we have our own dedicated hate threads XD
I have a theory that ME3 will be like DA:O where you have to go around and unite the galaxy against the reapers (this means uniting the Quarians and Geth as well)

so if my theory is correct then it would fit if ME1 and ME2 squad members came back to help out (perhaps some wouldn't come back like thane since he has a disease etc.)

I think at first she'd be all "Shepard, this vehicle is archaic and runs on on a primitive fuel source. I just don't see how it can be any fun to operate it." 

And then after a few moments of hearing that roaring engine and feeling the vibrations caused my an internal combustion engine, she'd get a total rush from driving it.

It'd kinda be like a  guilty pleasure I guess.

I don't know if you listened to the podcast (link on the OP i think) but the project director of ME said that they know what Tali looks like

considering ME3 is the last game with SHepard in, it makes sense that they'd show Tali's face.

I'm not sure why, but I was utterly convinced they were going to show her face. When I saw her pounce, and then it faded to black and TIM appeared... well, it was a pretty big FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU moment. 

I think the reason I was so convinced that they were absolutely going to show her face was a combination of remembering the sex scenes from ME1, and the fact that I had listened to her "I want you to see what's under this damn helmet" dialog like 10 times, from talking with her after every mission, hoping more dialog opened. 

Eh, I got over it quickly though.
