yeah i don;t know where you live but here in Ontario EVERYTHING is in French and English... that's fine with me because it promoted equality.

you go over to Quebec and EVRYTHING is in French... no English just French.

They can't expect us to just be nice to them and let them do what they want because they're some special minority VIP group. That's power of the minority and it's a BAD thing. we should all be treated equally and the French just want more. I'm not saying that English peopel aren't the same way but the French always call upon the past to get what they want, the English can't do that.

Exactly... Quebec should take a lesson from Alberta, if they leave Canada then they'll all die and beg to come back to Canada. Quebec separately can't sustain itself. Alberta separately can't sustain itself but as one country everyone prospers.

about how the french in Canada are treated 'unfairly' even though they get better treatments than the rest of Canada.

 i never did that. i was talking about how Canada saved France in WWI and WWII then i was talking about how they're using the power of the minority to get special privilages that other Canadians don't have.

Don't even pretend you know what it's liek because you don't live here.

Hype backlash.  As the love for something grows, the amount of unsubstantiated hate grows as well.  A lot of people love Tali, people will hate for that reason.  I don't worry about it.  I don't think Miranda fans or any other fans hate us either.  Sure every group has its trolls/idiots, there are also plenty of reasonable fans who I've had conversations with.  You just never hear from the rational voices because the idiots are louder.

I hope all characters are back for ME3, and I'm sure most people feel the same way.  So much so that I think not having the ME2 squad back as the ME3 squad could seriously hurt sales.

Hype after the fact, you mean. Tali was hardly as showcased as Miranda, ESPECIALLY in the romance preview video (showing Samara as much or more than Tali when she wasn't even a LI lol). Miranda seemed to be top dog after the bewbs video, then Tali turns out to have a better romance AND the biggest fan base so Mirancers automatically hate.

I'm not generalizing all Mirancers as this, because as I think you yourself stated Phil "It's lonely at the top" which nobody would question if the one at the top was some obvious "stripper that kicks ass" chick, but that's not the case, is it? Some alien with an unkown face and only 12 total digits with an enviro-suit that Average Tom would find repulsive, this character is #1. Easy to see how the masses of Average Tom's could misunderstand, dismiss it, and proceed to hate, instead of not understanding, letting people live, and being content.

Personally I despise Miranda, but I don't troll her thread (unless provoked, and hasn't happened outside of PMs). Even if there was a Miranda 3.0 thread right now with 4000 pages, I wouldn't be trolling, I'd be in my little Tali tent enjoying what I have (again, not saying all Miranda fans are like this, only that it's fairly clear that Tali and Miranda are nothing alike, the other character fans in general don't understand the Talimance except Garrusmancers and maybe Thanemancers of course lol)
Heh anyways what's up peeps you know why I'm here :innocent:

     While I may dislike a characters attitude (Miranda), or the decisions they make (Liara), I don't hate them. I don't go out of my way to make someone die in the suicide mission, not even Miranda. I make it a point to make sure everyone comes out alive, even the Cerberus crew. Even as a paragade (can't bring myself to go full renegade) I value the entire team.
     As for Liara, I liked the romance story in ME1, but meeting her on Illium changed things, I didn't hate her for giving Shepard's body to Cerberus, her  "I just couldn't let you go" was a touching moment easily missed if you didn't pick the right conversation choice, and a reminder of the person she used to be. What I didn't like was offering her help/protection against the Shadow Broker, and being turned down. With everyone else on the crew asking for Shepard's help with some unfinished business from their past, what's one more side mission? Liara was either too proud, or trying to bury what little emotion she had left. So it seemed like a more harsh rejection than Kaiden/Ash on Horizon. Loyalty or responsibility to the Alliance, I could understand. Wrex has to lead his people, I understand that too. Liara has to hunt down the Shadow Broker, but can't/won't do so aboard the Normandy, she has to remain on her own, on Illium. I just don't get it. So I have no regrets leaving her to her vendetta.
     Then there's Tali, already my favorite squadmate (Wrex 2nd, Garrus 3rd) from ME1.  Always willing to help out an old friend, despite his association with Cerberus. A group she has far more reason to distrust than any human would. To hear her voice, on the verge of tears, saying, "I wish Shepard were here..." that was all it took. Before any loyalty mission, before any romance plot conversations on the Normandy, she had set the stage for the best story ME2 had to tell. I was a fan from the start, and turning her into a love interest, not to mention the BEST love story in all of Mass Effect, only improved things. 
     So I don't hate anyone on my team, not even Miranda, but I DO love Tali.
