Well, a nuclear device kind of ended that issue for me.

The only time it really made me facepalm was Ash's "What are we going to do about the quarian?" thing with Tali standing there.

I realize Kaidan says it too, but he sounded nicer.

Well, here's my reasoning. 

Engineers can mess with weapons and shields, which is what soldiers are all about.

Biotics are effectively immune to tech attacks; they rely on powers and use barriers instead of shields.

Soldiers carry a lot of firepower, and biotics can't stop bullets (and are generally lightly armored).

I consider the Infiltrator to be kind of phys/tech hybrid, and it's what I'm most familiar with.  Armor doesn't bother me, and Shields are joke.  But I have the devil's own time with Barriers until I can get Warp Ammo.

I don't know, the Viper isn't too bad at bringing down Barriers, and besides, the ME2 Infiltrator has an SMG, and the Tempest is just as good as the Revenant at taking down Barriers.

It's still slower w/o warp ammo, because you can use disrupt ammo to eat shields and incinerate to eat armor.  And I use the Widow.  It's quicker at taking care of business.

I haven't actually played an Infiltrator in ME2 yet, I' still finishing up my infiltrator in ME1, but during phase 1 of the suicide mission playing as my soldier, Mordin was taking out Barriers with his Tempest a helluva lot faster than I was with my Revenant. And I also prefer to have Geth Shield Boost as my bonus power; you wouldn't believe how many times using that at the last second saved my life

Ashley had other things going for her that made me not like her, though. If I nuked everyone who insulted a quarian, there wouldn't be much galaxy left to save in ME3.

About half of the usuals here use Tali avatars, understandably. That is one of the main reasons why I do not, it will only add further confusion. Though it does inspire people to look at the names rather than the avatar.

Yes, hate the fact that she harrases Tali, and although I'm not reallt a Liara fan, I can't say I approve of someone who hates on others for no reason.
